"what do you mean you were 'in the middle of no where" Winter asked, he looked around the room once they entered. He smiled before looking back to her. "Were you just not there at the moment or were you just at some unknown location and you had no idea how you got there, like he just teleported you away or something."

"Luna sent me away before Tirek returned to Canterlot. I think I was in Mareland, but I could be wrong. Either way I was safe until he was defeated." She giggled, "well anyways, welcome to Canterlot Castle!" She threw her hooves up, making broad gestures towards the glorious seat of power.

"The castle is quite magnificent... I know that is probably an understatement... but its the only word that comes to mind that describes it..." He said before chuckling, "So, you live here... to tell you the truth, I'm jealous... the closest thing to a castle I ever lived in was my uncle's home, when my father went on business trips. when I was 6..."

Quillina honestly was rather surprised at how open they were becoming. Before, she hardly squeaked her name, and yet now they were chatting! She giggled, "well I can't show you my chambers, it's too close to Luna's. But I can show you anywhere else you've heard about!"

It was weird for him, He had become more open to a mare he had just met, than his friends who he had known since Elementary School. He looked at her and said "I don't know what is really in this place..." He began thinking about what he would like to see. He scratched his head as he thought.

Quillina was still figuring out her strange need to speak all of a sudden when she decided the library would most likely make sense. She continued walking towards the throne room, bowing to a few royal guards as they passed them, "just pay respect and you'll do fine." She opened the massive doors, "the throne room!"

Winter looked around the room and at the large stain glass windows. "Its, once again this is an understatement, magnificent!" He said before looking at one of the stain glass windows. Usually Winter would probably be all quiet and he would have have his head low right now, but he didn't feel shy at all, which was strange....

Quillina slowly guided him towards the throne of Celestia, letting the light strike it. To the left was Luna's throne, which was equally as grand, just in midnight blue. The entire area was bathed in light, yet would most likely be bathed in moonlight during hte night. She smiled, "Magnificiant is an understament!"

"For the castle... yes it is, mostly because I have never seen a building like it, mostly because it hangs off the side of a mountain along with the rest of the city without any supports what so ever." Winter said as he looked around the large room. He looked at the two thrones "I wonder why there are two thrones, I would suspect that the princess would be awake at different times, so they would never be awake at the same time..."

She giggled and began to slowly hum her way into the next room, beckoning him to follow. She confirmed his speech, "Well yes, the princesses aren't ever awake at once. I'm actually nocturnal, I just drank so much last night that I'm not tired today!" She smiled, "I'm usually awake around 10."

Winter followed her "How long have you been awake today?" He asked as he walked into the room "What is this room..." He asked. He turned to Quillina and said "by 10, I'm going to infer that you mean 10 PM. I usually wake up around 9 AM." He scratched the back of his head.

Quillina smiled and showed him all the large statues that adorned the surface. She nodded to him, "yes, I'm usually asleep by 8am." She began to slowly move towards the statue of Discird, which they'd made a replica of the actual statue, "we made this after he was reformed as a reminder to him."

"I remember when discord 'destroyed' Ponyville, I was stuck on a floating piece of the ground... I almost fell off... good thing I didn't or I wouldn't be here" Winter said before looking up at the statue "It was because of him that I moved here, mostly because my house in Ponyville was in ruins..."

Nodding, she smiled and showed him a few more statues before she stopped at the enterance to a large room. She truned away from it, "We're not allowed in there." She smiled, and began to move forward, starting to move a bit more quickly as they left the strange rooms.

Winter looked at the room for a short amount of time, he decided that they weren't aloud in there for a good reason and followed Quillina. He began to think to himself 'I wonder what is behind that door? Its probably nothing...' He thought before saying "Tell me more about yourself Quillina..."

Hugging a little handle, she groaned and pulled another massive door open, leading to the large chamber which was the royal kitchen. She opened it and showed him the gigantic kitchen, avoding the many ponies making food around them. She turned and asked what he thought.

He looked at the kitchen, before looking at Quillina. "Its huge! how many ponies live in this castle, because so far I have only seen you, these chiefs, and some guards..." He said as he looked back at the kitchen. He stomach silently growled. He couldn't hear it, but he could feel it growl.

Quillina slowly waved over a royal chef and quickly placed two orders of the prestigious (and very expensive outside the castle) Hay-Jueven-Te. She smiled and guided him to a table and had him sit down, then used her mouth and poured him some water, "Give it five minutes and we'll eat!" Her stomachw as trembling.

"Stop reading my mind..." Winter said before chuckling. He smiled at her before asking again "So... tell me more about yourself, you don't have to if you don't want to..." He wondered why she didn't respond, maybe she didn't here him. He looked down at his hooves and thought to himself.

She nodded, but it was really really low when she did, "Well...I wasn't born in the castle. I was poor but couldn't afford to leave this place. And...and after that I was picked up and gained into the ranks when Luna read my book. She smiled and had to then look at him, "What about you?"

"I was born here in Canterlot, My family was poor also, when I was only a few months old..." Winter went silent and he lowered his head for a moment "well lets not talk about that... Well when I was around 7 I moved to Ponyville... and a few months ago I move back to Canterlot. I already told you why" Winter said before faintly smiling. "What was your first book..."

"Of Hooves and Horns." she giggled, looking down, "It was a really...really really bad romance novel. Well...not bad in the sense of quality but of..." she made a potion with her hooves to emphasize that point, "And apparently Luna has thirty copies of it in the library."

Winter knew what she meant by bad and said "Thirty copies? I guess she either really likes the book, or she just likes to have a back up, and a back up backup...." Winter said. "So I'm guessing it was because of that book that you got your cutie mark... How close am I?"

She nodded and looked down, showing her cutie mark off to him, "Yes...to think it's a smut novel mark!" She giggled, and she whisepred, "Luna keeps it as a tease to me, making me really embarressed every single time that I even go near her!" she giggled as the food arrived.

Winter chuckled "My father use to do the same thing when I misbehaved, He would always bring up how I got my cutie mark. It worked every time." Winter said before looking at the food. He had never seen this dish before... He looked at it for a few seconds longer.
