Quillina moaned gently and she slowly began to wake up. She looked up and saw his smiling face, nd she instantly brightened up. She whispered, "You stayed..." She slowly began wrapping her body around him, giggling as she did so, "you stayed. You stayed. Thank you thank you."

He smiled "Of course I did, I promised I would" He said before hugging her. "you slept so peacefully, I didn't want to disturb you so I stayed laying down. Well I might as well ask this question, even though the answer is obvious by how peaceful you were sleeping, did you sleep well?"

Quillina giggled and she slowly rubbed his leg, which was closest to her. She traced a pattern of an L in his fur as she smiled, "Wonderfully. One of the best sleeps I've ever taken." she giggled, "And all because of you~"

This was Quillina. She weas actually a very lovey-dupey romantic. Simply put, she loved romance.

Winter blush and said "well that's good to hear." He said before blushing even more. He noticed how she was rubbing his leg, Wondering why she was doing it in the shape of an L. He wondered what L stood for.

Quillina smiled and she sighed happily once more, slowly pulling her head back into his warm fur. She kissed his chest and then focused on his hoof, using that as a focal point to begin to drift away. She smiled and began closing her eyes, but then decided sleep wasn't her route.

He smiled at her and noticed that she began to close her eyes. He stroked her mane whispered something "What are you falling asleep again?" He looked at her with a slightly confused looked. He then looked to the side and examined the rest of the room.i

Quillina giggled and then the curtinas shifted, letting the sun hit her face. She hissed and covered her face, sitting up, "I'm normally asleep during the day." She groaned, "I have another off day today, so I'll probably sleep tonight." She smirked, "I'm nocturnal.":

"Yeah you already told me that you were nocturnal... I use to become nocturnal when I was in high school, every summer. My dad always said that I was hibernating because he never saw me awake." He said before smiling and using his magic to close the curtains, making the room a little darker.

She smiled and stood up, flipping her mane back and letting a tiny sliver of light make her entire body smile. She kissed his cheek and then looked at him, "So what do you want to do...today?" She giggled. She'd hardly ever used the world. She normally said tonight.

"I don't know... but there has been something... but we will have to go outside the city limits, the ponies here in Canterlot are not as tolerate of it as the ponies in Ponyville were, and I will give you one hint to what it is, it involves my cutie mark..." Winter said pointing at his cutie mark, which was a snowflake.

She smiled and she streched her back out, smiling. Once she'd done that, she looked at him and slowly grabbed a pair of enchanted sungalsses, which helped dull the sunlight. After this, she managed to slowly open the door. Blinking at him, she nudged him, "Come on, let's go!"

He got up and popped his neck. "Alright... but I recommend you bring a scarf or something..." He said before walking up to her. He looked at the sunglasses she was wearing and said "My friend is blind and her eyes are extremely sensitive to light but she doesn't wear sunglasses..."

She giggled, "Well maybe I just like this. Don't judge me!" she nudged him playfully and began  walking. once outside, she was a little less confident, but she wasn't exactly upset. She cointinued to walk and finally tried to lay down, smiling at him as she began to trot down the road.

"I still recommend you bring a scarf..." He said before looking at the sky around the outside of Canterlot. There were a few clouds, It wasn't to hot outside so that was also good, So it should go smoothly. "So do you want to know what I want to show you?" he asked

She shook her head, not sure if she honestly would want the answer. She held a little jacket to her she quickly bought and had that wrapped around her as the ventured higher. She shivered and nodded to him, "Sure, what's it that I need to be afraid of?" She smiled.

"Well, the reason I wanted you to get something to keep you warm is... well let me give you a preview." Winter's horn began to glow and he looked up at a cloud that was above them. Two small snow flakes came out of the clouds. One landed on Winter's hoof and the snow flake stayed. The other landed on the ground and it melted. Winter's coat was cold to the touch at the moment.

She yelped when they first touched her, but she relaxed after the first few. She whistled and slowly took one in her hoof, hodling it there and not letting it melt for as long sa she could. She giggled and looked alla round, and she smiled at him, "I-it's gorgeous!"

Winter's horn stopped glowing "If I do anymore than that inside city limits, it will begin to annoy some of the ponies here, after what happened when I was 6, they don't like it when I do to much. I don't blame them, accidentally putting Canterlot under 4 inches of snow would make a few ponies angry.

She giggleda nd romped a bit in the snow that was around them. She loved how it sparkled and how it was simply makign everythign start to light up. She looked at him and she smiled wide a goofy expression, "I love it! All I can do is write really good...or so I'm told."

"If you want allot of snow instead of less than half an inch, we will have to go outside the city." Winter said before looking at her and chuckling "I'm sure your a wonderful author... its probably an under statement but, I have never read anything you have written." He said.

She smiled and she blushed, "I-I um...am...one of the top...10 authors...in the whole land..." hse blushed, and looked to a bookstore. In the front was 'hooves: the anthology' was in the front, with her name on it. She blushed, "I-I'm kinda famous....I-I'm sorry...I never asked to be..." She sighed.

"Why are you apologizing... your saying it like being famous is a bad thing." He said before looking at her and smiling. "Just be happy you can use your talent without somepony filing a complaint, and then having a guard asking you to stop it" Winter said before looking down at the snow.

She blushed and looked down. Quillina did not like being the center of attention. In fact, she more or less preferred to be well.off in the corner of a room, not seen, nor heard. She thought being praised was a bad thing, and thus, when he praised her, she was worried. "W-well thanks..."

He smiled at her "But you are humble... I like that." He said. He sat down and made a small snow ball. He tossed it up and down, but after a few tosses, he didn't catch it and it hit Winter in the face. He shook his face and he through off the snow. He then looked back down at the snow and thought to himself.

Quillina suddenly was no where to be seen. Before anypony saw it, she'd struck him on the cutie Mark with a big, fat snowball. She giggled and snorted, throwing another but missing by a large distance. She laughed and began scooping up snow for a forte.
