"If your planning to build a fort, your going to need allot more snow, unless you want your fort to be... less than a foot tall. Remember I can't make very much snow within city limits, we will have to go outside the city if you want to have a snow ball fight." Winter said before he made a snowball, He mad sure it was a perfect sphere, he then threw it at Quillina, hitting her right on the head. He chuckled.

She giggled and looked at him, then she jumped up, "well let's go! I love snow!" She fell into it and romped a little bit more, than began her movement outside the city. After a bit, they were just outside, far enough away it wouldn't cause any harm. Then she giggled and awaied more snow.

Winter looked up at some clouds and his horn began to glow. It began to snow, His coat began to become cold to the touch again. When there was enough to have a snowball fight, he stopped having the cloud produce snow. His horn was still glowing, preventing the snow from melting. He made a snow ball, acting like a perfectionist while making it, and then threw it at Quillina.

Quillina romped around and finally began making her fort. She was at a disadvantage due to her gray coat, but she didnt care. Instead she built up a fort and hid under it, preparing her snowballs by hoof, as she was an earth pony. As she began to get ready, she felt one collide into her head and she growled playfully, "Take this!" she hit him on the cutie mark with a dead aimed shot.

He noticed it hit his cutie mark, "Hey, what do you have against Snowflakes" Winter said before chuckling and making his own fort. He made a bunch of snowballs, they were perfect in size and shape. He picked on up and threw it at her. It hit her snow fort, and he got down behind his, which was more of a wall than a fort.

Quillina began sculpting hers as a round U, hiding in the vertex and holding her own snowballs. She slowly turned around and began throwing them by hoof, a bit clumsily. She wasn't able to use magic, but her hoof was able to throw pretty decent. She smirked hit his ear.

Winter smiled before making 3 large snowballs, they were about the size of his head. By hoof he couldn't throw them, but with magic, it was a 'breeze' (get it?). He pick up one of them and tossed them into the air, so it would drop right on Quillina. He made a whistling noise as it came down.

Quillina was pelted as she poked her head up, "Nyuh fair, you have your fancy little magic, I don't have anything!" She giggled, just messing with him to get his guard down. She realized her giggle betrayed her and she almost swore. Quickly, she attacked with more of the fluffy bullets, until her hoof grew tired.

Winter had an Idea, he made a small blizzard that just covered the area they were having a snowball fight in. He used it to sneak behind her with a couple snowballs. When he was behind her, he made the blizzard stop, and once it cleared out he pelted her in the back of the head with a snow ball. He chuckled.

Quillina screamed just a bit as suddenly her eyes stung with the snow. Everything blurred, and thus she wasn't able to do anything. She groaned and turned her head towards her back, and suddenly she fell down with snow on her. She groaned, shaking a little bit. As she closed her eyes, she shook and shivered.

Winter walked up to her once the blizzard had COMPLETELY stopped. He saw that she was shivering.

 

(Note: his new design has him wearing a scarf.... so don't question it)

 

He took off his scarf and wrapped it around her. "Sorry, I guess I got a little carried away..." He said, ashamed. He looked down at her, his horn stopped glowing, meaning the snow was beginning to melt.

Quiliina was cold, file to the core. She groaned and looked up, feeling heat spill off him. She was driven my instinct and hugged him tightly, snuggling, "warm." She whispered, shaking as she tried to warm herself back up from the cold that assailed heer.

"Sorry, I should have been more careful..." He said before hugging her. "How about we head back to my house and I can make you some hot cocoa." He offered as a way to apologize. He held her close, "I'm so sorry, I didn't plan for it to be that intense of a blizzard...." He said.

Groaning just a bit, she felt as if she'd completely and utterly frozen. She couldn't say much as she shut her eyes grunting a bit. She leaned into the pony, closing her eyes even tighter as she wasn't able to thaw out. Grunting, she tried to think harder until she was shivering.

Winter picked her up and rushed her into the city. 

 

-2 hours later-

 

Winter had rushed her to his home, He had put her in the guest room bed. He grabbed every blanket in his house and put it on her. He had put a cup of hot cocoa on the night stand with a note that said 'I'm Sorry'.

 

Winter was in his living room, thinking to himself, he had never hurt anypony before, it was all his fault.

Groaning, she began to lift her head, feeling less cold. As she began to move her legs, warmth finally spread into her hooves. She stood up, and trembled. After checking the door, she finally managed to get into the living room. She grunted and made it to the living room.

He was starting to cry before looking up at her, He wanted to go and hug her but he was unsure how she would react. "I'm so sorry.... I'm sorry...." He repeated. He had his face in his hooves, one of his tears fell and the tear was frozen. He also didn't want to try and hug her in fear of hurting her again.

She shivered and slowly pulled herself over to him, wrapping her hooves over him and smirking at him as she hugged him. Then, the smirk faded as her brief spurt of confidence faded. She whispered against his fur, "T-that was the b-b-best few minutes I-I-I've ever had in m-m-my entire life." she nuzzled him.

"I almost turned you into a maresicle ..." He said, his face still in his hooves. "I'm sorry for almost freezing you..." He said before looking at her. He then looked down and saw the frozen tear, he picked it up with his magic and held it in his hoof, to a normal pony, it would begin to melt, but when Winter held it, it seemed to get even colder.

Quillina leaned her head up and looked him in the eyes. Her eyes were amounts of something unreadable. Somethign alien. She snuggled him harder and then she suddenly took a chance.

She suddenly siezed his lips in a kiss, holding him still as she stole one from him. She moaned gently and wrapped her hooves around him, snuggling him, warming him with her own heat as she broke the kiss, panting.

He began to blush extremely, his entire face was a deep red color. "T-that was a nice way of telling me to shut up..." He said as he dropped the frozen tear onto the floor. His face slowly began to fade back to blue.

 

(Panting? Did kissing him really make her tired/winded? Did she forget to breath? XD)

She hugged him tightly and smiled to him, "I-I think I'm in love with you." She whispered, hugging him even tighter as she tried to warm him up, "please don't do anything. I-I uh...I wanted to...I really...think I"m...in love..." She shut her eyes, "I'm sorry..." She closed her eyes tightly.

His face went red again, he was as red as a tomato. "u-uh, u-um...." He didn't move he didn't know what to say, they had only known each other for 3 days. "W-what are your sorry for?" He asked when he heard her apologize He looked down at her, a weird feeling in his stomach.

She said nothing more. Shefelt like she'd screwed something up. She hugged him a little harder and wasn't sure what to say. She wanted to lvoe him. she really wanted to have him love her. She groaned and leaned her head back, sobbing as she was being basically rejected.

He  noticed she was starting to cry "W-why are you crying..." He said before wiping away some of her tears. He looked her in the eyes, he inferred that she probably thought he was rejecting here. "just so you know, I'm NOT rejecting you..." He said before giving her a reassuring smile.
