When he gave her a knight costume and he wore a princess costume, she looked at him. "I wanna be princess!" Shooting complained to Riley. She made a pouting face to him. It was a ridiculous thing to be complaining over but she wanted to be the princess. (OOC: I watched two preschoolers verbally fight over who was going to be Elsa in princess once...) She sat down and watched Riley play around with his plastic sword. She played around with the plastic dragon and made a face at it, like she was actually mad at it. Then she looked over at the other foals again, staring with large eyes as she watched them play. She wanted to get up and play with them, so she tried to stand up again, only to face-plant this time as she fell. Pat.Rio.T. 305 August 28, 2014 Share August 28, 2014 Patterson's mom came in to the daycare, and after checking him in, she set him down in the play area with the others. Pat was wearing a white cowboy hat that was ridiculously large for his head. "It's one of his father's old hats, he seems to have grown an attachment to it. He loves playing with it, it keeps him quite occupied." His mother told one of the caretakers. She left after saying goodbye to Pat, who was not exactly happy to be left with a bunch of strangers. He turned around and pushed the brim of his hat up just enough to see the other ponies in the room, and put it back down before any of them made eye contact. The hat was so large compared to him, that it almost completely covered him when it was down over his face. It looked like... some sort of white thing? The young unicorn foal pushed herself up to her hooves only partway this time, knowing she couldn't fully stand without falling over, and she pulled off an awkward sort of crawling; pulling herself forward by her front hooves, her hind legs half pushing and half dragging. Once she reached the curious object, she studied it for a long while with her mismatched eyes. Then she reached out and poked the thing, almost as if expecting it to react in some way. It was a minty green unicorn filly. He didn't know what else to do, so he just said, Pat: "H-Hello" He then noticed her mismatching eyes, and after staring for a few seconds, he said, "Whoa, dat's cool!" "Sowwy abowt my absence, fewwas," he said to his playmates. "I needed a diapey change. They told me that I 'did a number on dis one'," he explained. "I wonder what dey meant by dat?" She ran over to the jigsaw pieces and looked at Riley. She started chewing on the piece and fell on her back, chewing sleepily. After all this playing and crying, she was really tired by now. Most things she examined in curiosity generally didn't do that. But then the hat lifted up, and it was another foal, which actually came as a surprise to the little unicorn filly. She herself was staring for about a minute before she realized he'd spoken. "Hi!" she returned the greeting cheerfully, before it turned into another brief staring match with the colt. Then he complimented her eyes, calling them 'cool.' At first, she didn't realize what she was talking about, and then remembered that her eyes weren't the same. "Danks!" she then said, about as capable of pronouncing certain syllables as her fellow foal. After one more short pause, she remarked, "I wike your hat!" He got out of his hat and placed it back on his head, pushing the brim up to make sure that it didn't fall over his eyes. "Ooh, let's go play!" He said as he turned and saw some of the toys in the play area. He went towards a big toy that was right near him, it had a bunch of colorful buttons. He first tried to push a red button, but it was hard to push. So he slammed the button, and an animal suddenly popped out of nowhere, startling him. After hiding behind his hat for a few seconds, he tried hitting another button, but this time, when another animal popped out, he quickly smacked its head back down.
