Alicorns Or Discord Vs Quan Chi Battle

This battle would be a one on one battle between any of the Alicorns or Discord alone vs Quan Chi from Mortal Kombat.

Who would win the fight in your opinion.

Quan Chi is one of the most powerful fighters in Mortal Kombat and also has magic as well being a very powerful sorcerer. he also has the power of the Netherrealm at his disposal. Plus he can reteleport back into Equestria with his magic if he sent to the moon. He also has the abilty to screw with enemies minds.

Please keep your opinions based on cannon mlp and what we have seen in the show and not uncannon fanfics in which the ponies or Discord are way more powerful than they actually are.

In my opinion of course I think Quan Chi wins. But I would like to see what you guys think.

Here is a taste of what he can do.

Here is also a small dexription along with a link to his abilities and bio as there is too much to explain in this post.

"Quan Chi is the most powerful sorcerer the Netherrealm has ever seen, excelling at both black magic and necromancy. A being of many talents, Quan Chi uses powerful dark magic to keep his enemies guessing. Using his necromancy, Quan Chi's form of attack involves using disembodied skulls and skeletons that emit an eerie green glow. He can also use these skeletal structures as a form of defense to block incoming attacks as well reanimate the dead to do his bidding, such as Noob Saibot and Scorpion; two of his most powerful undead enforcers. He can also summon skeletons; moreover, he can use these skeletons to create clones of himself as shown in Baraka's MK gold ending. With his black magic, he was able to manipulate a Soulnado, which was one of Shang Tsung's primary sources of power, which he can close off any time he chooses. Due to the power of the amulet he gained from the original Sub-Zero, he has the ability to freely move between realms via portal. More of his powers include: shapeshifting, life force/soul stealing, and power nullifying. Along with Shinnok's Amulet he is able to control all forms and types of magic which for all purposes, allows him to do anything he chooses. Quan Chi is able to duplicate objects as seen in his Mortal Kombat 4 ending in which he stolen the original Shinnok's amulet and gave the Former Elder God a false copy of his amulet. Quan Chi is also very skilled in manipulation, as he tricked many fools into furthering his own goals"

"Guys, let's pair someone who kills all the time versus a character from a children's show. It'll be the sh*t".

There's not really anything in those videos that displays more than superhuman strength, magic, and speed, with some elemental manipulation. Is there anything he's done in his storyline that's notable?

Way to much to include here but I will post his full bio link into the first post.

He can bring the dead back to life

Buts he's definitely mortal.

He prefers to hide behind the scenes and manipulate people. Like a not-sh*tty Shang Tsung.

He usually relies on his undead wraith lackies to fight, but he can hold his own

Just did some quick research. It seems like excluding the Elder gods(who could solo the verse rather easily), MK characters start out as roughly superhuman and end somewhere at around city block level. Speed wise, they're sub-sonic, since at least some of the verse carries guns and uses them effectively. They do have interesting hax, though, like dimensional BFR and soul-stealing.
Having said that, Quan Chi loses badly. With enough prep, he'd be able to create a soulnado and win via hax, but in a direct fight, he's too badly outmatched in raw stats(Specifically, speed) to have a chance.

Quan Chi has definetely more powerful magic than the Alicorns, but he's not at the level of Discord, who's a reality-warper.

The Alicorns might get tired after fighting an army of undead warriors, but Discord could just transform most of them into chocolate bars.

With prep, Quan Chi could steal Discord's soul with ease.

To be honest, I think from MK there are only three characters who would be able to stomp easily the MLPverse. Raiden, Shao Kahn and the Elder Gods.

Raiden is still a non immortal Elder God, but he can teletransport at FTL(faster than light) speeds if necessary. Also he has absolute control over all electricity and lightning.

The Elder Gods can wreck all of Equestria with a stare.

And Shao Kahn just talks with his awesome voice, and Discord is dead.

Well of course you have to go into it with prep. Out of all of the threats in MLP universe Discord is a being even a powerful character needs to prepare for. Assuming Quan Chi is smart enough and considering how many beings he has faced, I am sure he would prep enough to defeat Discord.

It's only due to the fact that no one in MLP has ever resisted soul-based attacks. They'd have no way to counter a soulnado. Of course, he'd have to do it before the battle, since he's not fast enough to cast in match. Somewhat defeats the purpose, though.

I wonder if we will see something like this in upcomings seasons. Since Hasbro seems to have planned another five years of the show, we might have some cool stuff in store.

I hate Quan Chi with a passion, however, I believe he has the capability of defeating both Alicorns and Discord.  (Although i think it would be better if it were Shao Khan instead of Quan Chi)
