The young filly had grown some over her time with Eulogy. He had helped her preen her wings and wash her coat. Her main was becoming a bit more full.

Over time, she had grabbed a few words here and there, slowly learning their meaning. He had tried to teach her the meanings of the words, and it was fustrating. What she was awar of was she was Luna, a pony. Her caretaker was Eulogy, a man. Here were always questions she had wanted to ask, bt never knew how to. Slowly, she began to learn how to.

One morning, the young filly woke up while it was still dark. Not caring to fall back asleep, she went over to the window and looked out at the world. However, it wasn't the world she loved. In the sky, floating above her wih it's beauty, hung the moon. She loved the sight of the clelestial body. Every so often she would stay up to see it rise up.

Eulogy wakes up slowly. He carefully approaches near her sitting next to her.

"Good morning." He says softly gently petting her mane, its appearance not quite what it is in its regal form, but its sparkling effect still there.

"I always liked stargazing and watching the moon raise... Its like a reminder of better days." He says softly .

Looking to the tall man, Luna snuggled close to him, still looking to the moon. It was so peaceful. After a bit, she took his hand in her hoof and pulled it close. "I wove you daddy." She said, looking up at him with the same look she would the moon. He had protected her, and she loved him for it.

"I love you too Luna." He smiles giving her soft kiss on the forehead. He picks her up and the two head downstairs.

He places her down onto the floor and takes the bowl and plate, replenishing with celery, apple slicess andwater.

"You know daddy hates it when he has to leave you here." He says to her placing the water and food onto the coffee table.

Luna walked around the table, looking up at her dad.

"Ya..." She replied, she knew how much she missed him. And if it was anywhere close, she could feel his pain. Walking over to her little table, she sat down and waited for breakfast. It was a usual cycle now, and it was one she always liked. Her dad always prepared great meals. By now, the sun was rising. Looking outside, she smiled seeing a warm lush outdoors. "Can i play outside?"

Eulogy looks at the back door, he seems to ponder a bit, thinking about the risks of discovery and such... But couldn't deny his little princess.

He smiles and looks to the clock, "Huh.. Got some time to spare. Come on." He says leading her to the back door opening it up, the door leading to and enclosed fenced area. The small patch area is simply open grass.

Seeing the small open field, the filly ran into it, enjoying the openness of the air and grass under her hooves. This was freedom. This is what she desired. Running around, she squealed out in joy. The simplest things in life are the things you cherish. Spreading her small wings, she tried to gain some air, only for them to buzz uselessly. She didn't mind. In her world, she was souring past the clouds,

Eulogy takes a seat on the porch steps watching her run around happily, trotting, jumping and rolling about in the dew saturated grass. The dew drops adding more to the sparking in her hair.

Eulogy can't help but smile as his cheeks flush about watching her display her joy. Knowing that this is real.

As Luna jumped over a small pile of rocks she had made, a loud bark scared her half to death, driving her to run for her dad. Outside the fence, a dog was trying to get inside, smelling the pony.

"Heal! Get back here!" An owner yelled, trying to get their dog under control. As the owner approached, he could probably see over the fence.

In quick panic Eulogy scoops up the filly and quickly retreats back inside shutting the door

"Forgot about that mutt." He grumbles and sighs relaxing holding the little filly.

"That was too close." He says to her and places her down onto the living room floor.

The filly breathed a sigh of relief, knowing he was away from the barking, but she also looked up at her dad with curiosity and sadness. "What was close? Why do you look so scared?" She asked with her innocent tone. Was it something she did? Was it him? And why did they have to leave outside?

Eulogy gives a concerned appearance, he looks down to the sweet filly,

"Luna some people... Erm... This place has a lot of bad people... And some haven't met you... And..." He ponders on what to say next...

"They... Just I don't think they are ready to see you, they could react... Bad." He finishes trying to sound simple for her to understand.

"O...ok?" She replied, giving him a saddened look. What did she do not have people not like her? Was she bad? No... She couldn't be... Sighing singly, she went to the counter and stood on her tippy-hooves to grab her breakfast and walked to her table. Sitting down, she slowly are, keeping the saddened face.

Eulogy gives a concerned look and kneels down pettingher gently, "Luna. Its not you. You haven't done anything wrong." He says trying to reassure her.

"Now I'll be back later today okay?" He asks and gives a gentle hug. Eulogy always thought it was difficult to leave the young filly alone.

The filly looked up at her dad, still saddened by her secrecy. She had been seeing less and less of he outside. If it really wasn't her fault, theme where did the fault lie?

Looking outside, she looked to the sun. It's temptation of warmed only mocked the filly now. If she were to be banished from it, maybe it was the sun's fault. To the filly, it made sense. However, she still was going to miss her dad. "Bye bye... She called, going to him and hugging his leg.

She hears the vehicle outside start up and from the window he gives another look to her mouthing the words, "I love you." Before pulling out and driving on.

Going from the window, the mare finished her breakfast and put her dish by the sink. She then began to walk to her play area. As she did, she spied a picture on the wall of her dad and two taller figures. He had said that they were his mom and dad. At the time he told her, she thought little of it. Today however, one question rose. Where were her parents?

For the rest of the morning, she played and colored. About around noon, she took a small nap, then went back to her work.

The clock reaches roughly sometime into the

3o'clock range, the familiar rumbling of the rattling engine approaches as Eulogy pulls in. He exits and shuts the metallic door and unlocks the door.

"Luna? I'm back." He announces, seeing the cute filly on the living room floor with her assortment of coloring pencils and papers, he can't help but chuckle.

Holding a pencil in her mouth, the filly looked up in joy to see her dad. "Daddy!" She squealed as she tossed the coloring tool aside and ran to her dad. Taking the paper she had under her wing, she hugged him tight. "I made you something!" She then presented him with a crude drawing of her and him together, playing, star gazing, and snuggling.

He kneels down and examines the picture, he can't help but smile, his cheeks flushing red.

"Luna dear... Its wonderful." He says petting her happily.

"You're very talented. I love it." He says in approval. He scoops up the little filly in his arms giving her a good nuzzling.

As she is scooped up, she kisses him on the cheek. She always enjoyed the nuzzling time she had with him. It made her feel close to him. However, as she was in his arms, she noticed the picture again, the question forming in her mind.

"Um... daddy? Do I have a mommy?"

Eulogy gives a surprised and saddened look.

"I... I don't know where you mother is..." He replies holding her close to him.

To quickly try to change subject, he quickly begins tickling at under her forehoof, then following it up with toward her belly.

On a normal day, the filly would have easily fallen to her dad's tickles. On a normal day, she would have laughed till dinner.

Today was not a normal day. Pushing his hand aside when he went for her belly, the filly looked deep into his eyes. "Daddy... who is my momma?" She asked, her eyes at the brink of tears.

He pulls back his hand noting her seriousness, he sighs sadly,

"Luna dear... You... You don't have a mother." He responds to her sadly.

"I'm sorry baby girl." He says to her trying to ease from erupting into tears or such. He holds the filly into his arms

"I'm sorry Luna." He whispers

Even though she was being held close to her dad, Luna felt more alone then ever. She didn't have a mom? No one? Not anyone? The only memories she had were of her dad, and those were about it. Now... she knew she didn't have anyone else. The tears came, but not with a squeal of sadness, just soft sniffles.
