"I wonder why the other toys didn't come with us to Sunnyside." Renegade said. He then facehoofed again. "I forgot the other toys were either thrown out or sold." The unicorn sighed. "I miss He-Man. He made such a great leader for us back home. It's hard when you have to say goodbye to family."

Really? I thought He-Man was pretty annoying...

 

"Yeah," Destiny said simply.

 

I'd hate to be thrown out. I'm not exactly sure where you go when you're thrown out, but it's probably a really horrible place. And being sold would have to be pretty bad too, since you know you're going somewhere else, but hope it's a good home.

"And then...and then Gravy and Vanilla died. That was really hard...do you remember their funeral?" Renegade asked, about to cry. "Their death hit us all, especially Nah-Bah." Renegade opened the floodgates, crying like a foal. "WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DIE? WHHHHHHHYYYYY?"

Destiny blinked, surprised by the sudden change in mood.

 

Jeez, that mood swing there.

 

"Yeah, I remember their funeral," she said sadly, but she was no where near crying.

 

I think that's our owner's fault, since it was his responsibility to take care of both of them.

Renegade calmed down a bit, but still had tears in his eyes. "No...it wasn't his fault...they just broke. Still, they were my best friends." Renegade sniffled before saying, "They'll never be forgotten." The unicorn then thought for a moment. "Didn't we plan their wedding before they passed on?" he asked.

"I don't know, did we? Wasn't the wedding supposed to be like, the day or two after they broke?" Destiny asked, trying to remember.

 

I think it was. Maybe they got married before they broke? No, no I don't think they did, she thought to herself.

 

"I'm not really sure actually."

Renegade kissed her, wanting to be with her forever, until they rotted in a landfill. (XD) "I honestly miss our friends back home. At least they've gone to good homes...haven't they?" he asked, smiling at Destiny. "You're the only girl for me. Don't ever forget that." he said, hugging her tightly.

Destiny nodded, hugging him back.

 

I hope they did go to good homes. I'm not that heartless to say that I don't care.

 

"I hope they've gone to good homes," she said.

 

But what if some of them didn't? Where would they end up? In the same place the ones who were thrown out and sold went?

Renegade sighed. "I'm bored. Wanna go explore this place?" he suggested. "I'm curious to know what other places this daycare has."

Renegade got up, stretched...and one of his legs somehow popped off. Without this one leg, Renegade had no balance. As a result, he fell over. "Ow."

Oh jeez.

 

Destiny got up and picked up his dislocated leg. She popped his leg back on, and stood up. "Sure, we can explore if you can still walk."

 

She helped him back up, and leaned him against the couch. "See if you can walk," she said.

 

I wonder why I've never had that happen before.

Renegade got up...and found that he could walk just fine. "I'm fine." he said, petting Destiny's hair. "You have very soft hair. And a very nice body, too." he said, trying to flirt with her. "Remember when I said I've always loved you? Well, it's kinda true. When I first saw you, I knew you'd be the one for me."

"Thank you," Destiny said with a small smile.

 

Really? I always thought love at first sight didn't really exist.

 

She walked to the doorway and stood there, and looked back at Renegade. "Aren't we gonna explore the Daycare?" she asked. She looked outside, spotting no toys near their home, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Renegade nodded, whistling the Mission: Impossible theme as he snuck out into the hallway. "Hmmm...I think we should see if there's a basement. It could make a good hiding spot." he said, trotting down the hall. Soon, he walked down into the basement's stairwell. "It's kinda dark in here." Renegade observed. He then heard a low, guttural growl.

Destiny followed closely behind, hopping down the stairwell with him.

 

I can barely see in here...

 

She heard the low growl, and looked around, even though she couldn't see.

 

It sounds like a dog or something.

 

She got into a fighting position, ready if anything came out of the dark.

Suddenly, six xenomorph heads lunged out at Destiny, roaring loudly. After it roared, it fully came out of the shadows, revealing a plastic xenomorph body with arms and legs in various places. The creature grabbed Destiny in one of its mouths and walked back into the shadows, to ts lair.

Destiny felt something grab her and tried to kick out at it. She kept struggling in its grip, which only got tighter. "Help!" she shouted, still struggling in its grip.

 

She kicked some more, some of them hitting the toys, but they still kept their firm grip.

The large monster carried Destiny to a corner of the basement, where several other toys were. However, these toys were beaten, broken, and chewed up, probably by the monster. And it looked like Destiny would probably be next. "Help...us." a chewed up Polly Pocket doll said weakly, obviously dying. The monster roared, growling at Destiny.

Destiny got into a fighting position after breaking from its grip.

 

"Back off. I won't hesitate to kick your face in." She ignored the Polly Pocket, since she knew she couldn't do anything about it.

 

She stared the monster down, ready to fight if it tried to attack her.

The creature snorted, opening the mouth of its middle head, and roared. Renegade ran up to the monster and kicked it. "You wanna piece of me, huh?" he taunted. The monster snorted, as if to say yes. Renegade nodded, allowing himself to be chased by his foe. Renegade grabbed a small match, lit it, and tossed it at the monster. It began to melt, roaring in pain as it did.

Aw, I could've handled him. I am not becoming a stupid damsel in distress, Destiny thought to herself.

 

She got up and looked at Renegade. "Thank you," she told him.

 

Next time I will kick the enemy's face in.

 

"Where to now?" she asked, not wanting to look at the dying Polly Pocket.

"Not sure." Renegade said. "Wanna go back to the house?" he asked. He had enough adventure for today, and didn't really want to explore anymore. Besides, he wanted to spend some time with his best friend. Renegade trotted up the stairwell, down the hallway, and back into the Butterfly Room. He then opened the door to his and Destiny's house.

"Sure," Destiny said, walking behind him. She hopped up each stair, careful not to fall, and walked down the hall. She entered their house and sat down on the couch, tired from walking up the stairs and from struggling in the monster's grasp. Her legs still hurt from where he grabbed her, but overall they weren't severely damaged.

Renegade sat down on the couch next to Destiny, happy that she was safe. "So...what do you want to do today?" he asked, hugging Destiny. "I was thinking we could paint the house. Y'know, give it a bit of color. Do you want to?" Renegade went outside, and got a paintbrush and some paint.

Destiny nodded, hugging back, "Sure." She got up and got a small paint brush. "What colors are we painting it again? Red and white?" she asked.

 

She dipped her paintbrush into the white paint and started painting the walls, trying to delicately paint it, but ending up making messy paint strokes.

Destiny sat in front of the house, looking up at her paint job. "Wow, I'm really not that good at painting.." Some of the cardboard was still showing, and the paint strokes were uneven and messy, going in all different directions. "What do you think of it?" she asked.
