I'd like to ask about creating a Pony Video, a short one, just a short synopsis of how I should plan it out

This is my first year doing animation in graphic design and I've done research but I've been left with little knowledge.. I want to do a simple animation of a walking pony

I know Illustrator I know photoshop I do no know flash

Any suggestions?

There are a lot of good video tutorials on Youtube that help you with everything from the basics to what tweens do all the way to the finished product.

^Here's a link to a great Adobe Flash tutorial series on Youtube by a great animator that's both helpful and humorous. This will help you with everything from start to finish.

^Here's another tutorial from the creator of the fan episode "Double Rainboom" teaching some basics of Flash as well as how to use the puppet rigs that they have made famous within the fandom.

If you want to really dive into animation and learn all of the fundamentals on how characters move and interact with objects within the world that you put them in, take a look at the "Animator's Survival Kit" on Amazon. It provides hundreds of pages on everything that an aspiring animator needs to learn how to make characters move with fluidity and to make everything work like oiled gears in a machine. Here's a link.

Finally, when you start working with animation, don't forget to practice, practice, practice. Practicing makes perfect, no matter what. Even if your first couple times might not be the way you hoped, keep on it and you'll get better over time.

Don't forget to have fun with it.
