I first discovered My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic back in 2011 through a friend's recommendation. At first I was like, come on really? You really want me to watch that? He kept telling me about the show until I finally watched it. At first I thought it was just ok. It took me a few episodes in to start liking it. Around that time I didn't know there was a fandom. I discovered through the internet that most of the fans on the show are male. I found out the name of the fans were Bronies. So, I declared myself as a Brony because of how much I was enjoying the show. I used to be scared to tell people I enjoy it but now, I'm not anymore. Some people have asked me why I watch the show and I tell them why and they understand. I'm glad people accept me for being a Brony. My favorite episode of the show is a tie between Pinkie Pride and Twilight's Kingdom. My favorite ponies are Luna and Rainbow Dash. But, the pony I can relate to the most is Twilight because I'm smart and like being with my friends. I love this show and I always look forward to seeing new episodes of it. I was really worried that I was going to be bullied by people and my friends and family weren't going to accept me. So I kept it secret for a while. One day, I decided that I can't hide it anymore. So, first I told my friends at school who already knew about the fandom and they were fine with it. But my family, when I told them they didn't understand at first. So I decided to show them a few clips and then they understood. Now I'm not afraid to tell anyone I'm a Brony and if they can't accept it that's their problem. I really enjoy the fan made music by Black Gryp0n and Living Tombstone and for Animations I love AnimatedJames and FluffyMixer. I like to draw the characters from the show. If I never would've discovered this show I would probably be bored a lot. As it's one of the only shows I watch nowadays.
