The production delays are Tartarus, but the very potential of the concepts they will likely be exploring in the next season are bigger than the Tree of Harmony...I'd say it's the Elements and Rainbow Power in one!  Hopefully worth the wait!

I only started reading them this fall (since I had no school to attend), and I have to say, my eyes have been opened. You should read them sometime. Even just the first book.

I like blue, particularly shades of sky and navy blue. I call the blue used in my OC's mane Piedmont Blue, since I lifted it from the Piedmont Airlines logo. I forgot the HTML code but you can copy it directly from the picture.

Despite what other fans might think, MLP never really struck me as a very quotable show. It sends most of its message through the progression of the plot, its visual language, and what it implies, rather than a set of deeply philosophical conversations or one-liners.

 

I really had to reach in for this one, and I picked the moral from "Winter Wrap-Up".

 

"It helped me to learn that we all have hidden talents, and if we're patient and diligent we're sure to find them."

That quote shows another strong theme in the show. Aside from friendship, individuality and self-discovery is a big part of the show and is definitely setting up to be an even bigger part in Season 5. Those are themes that resonate very well with the brony audience, despite being commonplace in shows aimed at this target demographic, because of the different format in which MLP depicts it. As theorized by Tommy Oliver, it works better with these themes being rooted in their own world instead of trying to graft them onto our world, where they would fall flat in the face of dehumanizing modern society. For those of us who are more weary of the world, it really comes as refreshing that MLP, of all shows, is able to pull off such an amazing social commentary.
