How did you find MLP Forums?: Searched Bing for a MLP fan community

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: My girlfriend suggested A Brony Tale on Netflix. After I watched that, I was curious about the show and watch the first few episodes. They hooked me and I've now watched all 4 seasons and both movies I had my reservations at first but the character really won me over. I love their depth and spirit, especially for being a cartoon.

I'm no good at introductions, so here goes nothing. HI, I'm TJ or Thomas. I'm a software engineer specializing in .net and WPF applications with a good sprinkling of asp.net and PHP.

So I'm most definitely a brony, but I'm no good at drawing or music.. I only really shine in the software light. I've lurked here for a few weeks looking for my feet and trying to figure how I would introduce myself; I can be rather shy in new social situations.

I love video games (PC mostly), music (most everything, but my current feel is for EDM / Dubstep), and most of the nerdy type of things.

 

I really relate to Rainbow Dash's fearless drive, and I'm fairly timid about new things I don't know about; but I love all the characters. I also relate to Twilight Sparkle cause I've been a loner for parts of my life with lots of uncertainty. I really hope that I can find a place in this community.
