Here's my dying AMA blog that came before the thread~

The original ask; "Why are you so crazy about Derpy?"

I've been asked this a few times. Some ask because of my crazy love, some ask because they are aware I was once a Rarity addict, like @Jeric.
I don't often sit down, and think of why I like (or love) anything, and when I do, I find things out that I never noticed, about the topic AND myself.
So, for the record, this is what came to me, when I was given a moment to sit down, and really think hard on what makes the lovely Ditzy Doo so appealing to me.

I love Derpy because she isn't the hero. She isn't the villain. She's nopony, which makes her everypony.
She's the embodiment of the mane 6 in one.
She's honest, because she only wants to help, and doesn't know what went wrong.
She's loyal, she'll do her best for anypony, every time.
She's funny, because, let's face it, reasons.
She's generous, with her muffins and help, though some would decline either or both.
She's kind, because even with ALL the crap she has to put up with, both in the show, and from the real world, her character never truly changes.
And she's magic, because where once I worshipped Rarity, I can now see that Derpy is the One True Princess.

Yes, I know she's fictional, and therefore cannot care about the soccermoms who had her eyes changed, and voice altered. Still.
Where everypone teaches you one minor lesson, she teaches us to be helpful, and even if we fail, laugh it off, apologize, and do your best to do it right next time, in spite of any flaws you may have, that others may tease or bully you about.

I do not presently have any pets. None of mine have had Heterchromia in the past, either. And my flatmates pets do not have Heterchromia.

I've just always liked it. It's gorgeous... (@___@)

The idea to actually use Heterochromia in an OC came to me when the Sword Art Online game came out for PSVITA, because you can make your character with different colored eyes.
