Pokemon Gold was my first experience, and just like Crash 3 did before, it would forever shape the way I see videogames, just in a different way than the former -
Crash Boom Bang, without a shadow of a doubt. It is so crappy, in the "It doesn't count as a video game" sort of way. At least notoriously bad games like Superman 64 or Sonic 06 feel like games, whenever it is said in a good way or not. This one just is an annoyance that never seems to end, and whose only aim is to make you angry at things for no reason

While I have been playing WoW since I can remember, my experience with Vanilla has been... surprisingly lacking. I started playing in TBC, and didn't get seriously into it until WotlK, so Vanilla was always to me that mysterious part I never got to see myself. That said, I have been playing Classic since release, and I find it quite fun myself I grew up playing grindy stuff, so the Vanilla playstyle is right up my alley, even more so as I'm leveling a warrior, currently at lvl 44. Pretty tedious at the start, more so than other classes aparently, but it snowballs out of control if

To be fair, it's hard to compare the niche target audience that plays private servers vs the accessibility of classic wow and the group of people that is giving it a try for the first time Be the most popular version or not, most people are playing classic without any private server experience, and their reaction to Post-Phase 6 lack of content might be different to that of the people that expect it.
