open A Whole New World - Advanced Roleplay

Equestria is a huge nation, but places like The Crystal Empire prove that it is not the only pony-inhabited land. So when a group of explorer ponies stumble across a new island off west of Equestria, it is their job make strong ties with the country, or else go a slightly more aggressive route...

 

This Roleplay is told from both the persepective of the locals of the island and the explorers. However, there can only be 5 explorers. There are unlimited spots for the local ponies. First off, the name of the new land is still being decided. if you have any ideas, tell me!

With how the story's started, I think Shadowhide would fit really well on the side of the locals. Being a detective, she'd be involved in the police ponies' work, so perhaps she influences the decision to pardon the explorers? Then afterwards, she'll closely monitor them to make sure they don't get into trouble. Maybe there's somepony she reports all of the explorers' actions to? A lot of these are just ideas, so I'd like to hear what you think of them.

Definitely. The local ponies have a president (male) and he is pretty dictatorish (but he isn't EVIL per se, just a bit of a dick. Like reformed discord) so Shadowhide can report to him.
