Foxist woke up. He was on a tree of Canterlot garden.

"Oh my, what ha- Oh, I remember now."

He was on the tree because he slept in the Grand Galloping Gala, in Canterlot.

"Oh, I slept too much. And lost the train to Ponyville. Ah, I'm gonna just get lost in the city."

After getting in the city, he saw a giant building.

"What is this?", he thought.

He read the sign in the door: "Cathedral".

"I never seen a building so big before. What could be inside?", he said.

Leaving his client's building, h shakes his head. "Grab something from the cathedral, for that amount of bits? Now I just need to know what the truth is, you don't pay that much for a walk through a church." Flying towards the cathedral, he flush in though an outside window.

" Yes Luna I know I'll check the Cathedral" Equinox said leaving the castle. "Alright so a odd building know as a cathedral has appeared and Luna wants me to check it out..." Equinox said to himself.

 

Gem Shine smirked as she landed next to the Fox pony. "Not sure really...honestly I never been here before so I thought this was part of the area" Gem said

Foxist looked to the flying mare.

"Yeah. I don't get often here, so neither I can tell you if that building is new or not."

He read the sign again.

"This is an... I mean, a... Cathedral. Do you have any idea of what's a Cathedral?"

Foxist put his hoof on his chin, watching it closely. He thought, "What am I doing outside?"

And said to the pegasus: "Hey, let's go inside it."

"Agreed...after all it is just a building" Gem Shine said. "My name is Gemy Shine...or Gemmy or Gem since those are what my friends call me" Gem said smiling before....

 

"You both are really stupid" Equinox said. "You are not going in there...not without my permission or consent of pprincess Luna and Celestia" Equinox said as he looked at the two. "Who are you and what business do you have here"

Foxist stared at the unicorn.

"I smell arrogance in the air. What do you think you are? Why somepony need permission of the Royal Sisters to enter in this... Cathedral...? And above all,  who built it?"

So he got to his saddlebag. Picked his bandanna. And said:

"My name is Foxist. It's all you need to know for now. Came from Everfree."

" Equinox Son student of Princess Luna and sent here on official business form her so I have my rights to ask who you are and why you are here" Equinox said sounding calm.

 

"Wait if the princess sent you then...do they not know about this place either" Gem said.

 

"No they don't but they sent me to do recon...I'm glad I don't have to be with that dank students Twilight" Equinox said

"Oh.. Kay. I will tell you again. My name is Foxist. I was just getting lost here in Canterlot. Nothing very important. But this thing really awoken my curiosity. If you are about to kick me of here, you probably won't like."

Foxist turned invisibility spell on.

"Idiot" Equinoxes horn glowed and caused the spell to stop. "I told you I am a student of Luna...but...I might need help so I guess you two will have to do" Equinox said.

 

"Honestly even I knew he could cancel certain spells out...but first off shouldn't we just destroy the b-" Gem was interrupted by Equinox. "Can't destroy it...wouldn't be a smart idea" Equinox sais

Standing in the middle of the room, he watches the ponies outside argue. "Idiots. Always thinking they are best, and that unicorn, I was warned about him, now I think I understand more about my job. I'll have to keep an eye on him." Checking his gear, he smiles at the design of the building.

Foxist looked to the amount of windows in the cathedral. Thought about distracting.

"Wait... There's somepony trying to get in!"

Foxist turned invisibility once again, but now with more dedication. Knowing that Equinox can turn it off again, he made another distraction, breaking a random window nearby, and jumping on another one, hiding inside the building, without making any noise.

"We're going in now" Equinox said opening the door. "If that pony does anything rash it could lead to problems" He said as he let the pegasus pass. "Why would another pony try to enter...just a bit odd" Gem said. "Says the one who wanted to destroy the building" Equinox replied

Foxist became even more surprised indoors.

Lots and lots of windows with painted glass.

Most open.

Somewhat Foxist was confused because he couldn't find the window he broke, but just ignored.

Turned invisibility off.

"Uffs. I am lucky that one didn't anything. They probably won't--" He stop.

"I heard a knock..."

The door opened.

Turning to the voice he heard, Mirror Slash grabs a knife from a sheath on his wing. Aiming, he calls out, "Aren't you the pony from outside? How did you get in and why?" Flying up to the rafters, he glares down at the knocking and opening door. "Now what is going on."

Foxist sighed. "Ah no". He was angry.

Cast invisibility spell again.

Ran quietly around Mirror Blade, saying:

"I am a bit tired of ever being the first to answer questions. If you don't like having a stole weapon, so talk about you first."

He stopped behind Mirror, ready to anything that could happen.

"I would move if I were you. Stealing my weapons would be a bad idea, I am here for a job. That is all you need to know." Jumping off, he glides to the ground, sheathes his knife and stands there watching. "Talking right behind me while trying to hide from me, not the way to do it "

Equinox caused the spell to cancel again. "How about instead of fighting we just calm down and talk" Equinox said as he looked at Mirror Wing. ":You look familiar..." Equinox said before looking at Foxist. "Honestly you are rash with decisions"

 

Gem soon entered and smiled. "So Equinox is the one who doesn't want to fight...odd since you seemed like the one to attack" Gem said

"You must be equinox sin, Mirror Wing warned me about you. That's why he hired me to be here. I guess he heard about this and needed someone to watch you. The name is Mirror Slash." The Griffin says, watching the unicorn. "Anyways, I wasn't paid to fight you guys, so it doesn't interest me."

"Mirror Wing?" Equinox said as he smiled. "Don't know why he needed to warn me about you...I'm not dangerous unless you give me a reason to fight" Equinox added. "Do you know Mirror Wing or something Equinox" Gem asked. "No...but I heard of him..." Equinox said as he sighed. "Foxist calm down he's fine" Equinox said

"He didn't say you were dangerous. Just keep an eye on you. And grab something, but I am beginning t guess that was just an excuse. A random building just shows up? Maybe he throught you needed back up. Or he doesn't trust somepony with such a low opinion Celestias student."

Foxist calmed down.

"Uffs. Sorry guys, I am just a bit tired of talking."

He looked around.

"Hmm... How did the royal sisters doesn't know this place? Look how many statues!"

There was four statues: A Celestia's, pointing to the north, a Luna's, pointing to the south. A foal Luna's, pointing to the east, and a foal Celestia's, point to the west.

And a fountain in the middle.

"Beautiful fountain."

"Sorry if I don't like Twilight" Equinox said. "Even though I'm Princess Luna's student I still have respect for Celestia herself..." Equinox said as he laughed. "But do keep an eye on Deranged he like to go out of line" Equinox said as he sighed. "After all...Twilight is no better then me" Equinox thought

"Don't shoot the messenger, I only guess that because he works for celestia and you insulted twilight. Geez, only reason I get away with things like that is because of my profession." Looking towards the fountain, he studies it. "Seems kind of odd to be here."

Foxist walked towards the fountain.

"I can't say odd. Since this building never appeared before..."

He felt something happening. Just didn't know what.

"Guys, are you feeling this?"

the whole Cathedral started to tremble.

"Oh my freakin gosh, what's going on?!"

Foxist narrowed his eye pupils. Closed his eyes and... Nothing happened. Magic wasn't working.

When he opened his eyes again, everything was closed. Windows, doors, everything.

Equinox was teleported at the last minute but only appeared at the same place. "What the hell..." Equinox looked around. 'The whole place changed...GEM SHINE" Equinox yeled at her causing her to jump as she was scared. 

 

"Can you fly out of here" Equinox asked. N-no...theres no way to get out" Gem said
