The Aurora....a magical thing that can only be seen in the artic atmosphere of the crystal empire...where all the crystal ponies live and where princess cadence and her husband shining armor reside...many types of pony live and visit the empire but most of the kingdom consists of shining crystal earth ponies....but then there is the talented unicorns and pegasai...it is very rare to see fully crystal pegasai or unicorns but there are some ponies who are half and half...and though their childhoods may be rough...they grow up to shine all above the rest...one such pony is named Aurora Pen...a black half crystal pegasai with a sparkling coat hooves and a mane that looks like the very first sunrise and sunfall of equestria...with a strand of pink lavender light yellow and orange...she attracts the attention of many pegasai..but....what aurora really and truely wanted.......was to just be like everyone else...to be completely crystal!! and not to be mocked by the others who say she has no talents and chase her away into the darkness...but Aurora indeed DID have talents she worked hard and graduated at the top of her flight school and discovered the light...not just any light....an artistic one...one that beams against a black sky in the most beautiful array of color ever to be laid eyes on!! she was......

it was another early morning in equestria and the pegasai aurora pen awoke to her alarm clock playing a loop of one of her favorite songs fumbling with her hoof trying to find the off button she eventually found it and shut it off as she quickly leaned up her eyes had darker circles than her coat as she jumped out of bed and stretched out her wings as she popped all the joints in her body that could be popped...she went and put on her favorite blue clip in her hair that had a hand crafted plastic button attached to it that looked like her cutiemark...Aurora just yawned finishing putting the clip in with slight issues with her hooves as she slid down the stair rail on her bum and lept off into the kitchen area getting her daily dose of caffinated hot cocoa that she always drank before going out on the job she grabbed her light grey saddle bags and strapped them onto her as she took a deep breath in and let it out....

 

"well Aurora....lets see who is feeling good today...plus you gotta do the sunrise...mmff...just in time too.." and with that self pep talk she flew out the door and began to head into the sunrise to paint the clouds.... blasting music on her headphones...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfdXbJptvos
