Despite his previous declaration, Overdrive knew that in this environment, it was unsafe for anyone to be away from camp. Wolf could take care of herself, but Overdrive wasn't taking any chances.

 

As he furthered himself from camp, he called out for her. "Wolf, where are you?! If you can hear me, please answer!"

 

Once again, he couldn't shake the feeling there was something watching him, something following him. Every now and then he would stop, do a 360 degree turn, and double check to make sure he wasn't being followed. However, no matter what he did, he always had that feeling.

Lightning couldn't help but shake the feeling of immaturity, even in his dream state.

He felt free of any problems, no worry in the world. But somehow he knew he did. 

But, what was this feeling? Lightning felt energetic and free. 

"Wub wub wub wubwubwubwubuwbwu!!!!" He said in his sleep...

(Just go with it. It adds a bit more excitement.)

 

Overdrive began to breathe a little heavier and worry. He knew Wolfy was still a little laid up with her leg injury. He didn't want anything to happen to her.

 

As he continued his search, the day grew longer, more humid, and warmer. From time to time, he'd stop by a stream to take a sip of water, rest for a few moments, and collect himself. "She has to be here somewhere," he thought to himself. At the same time, he worried he was too late.

Overdrive again stopped to rest, collect himself, and take a drink of water. After a few moments, he was ready to search again, when he heard Wolfy's blood curdling scream. "She's close, I know she is," he said to himself. He then took off in the direction he heard the scream.

 

Several moments later, he came upon an outcove, and saw Wolfy laying on the ground, in sever pain. He rushed over as quick as he could. "Are you alright? Where does it hurt?"

"OK, I know what to do." Overdrive acted quickly. He took his goggles off of his head. Knowing he had another pair at home, he tore the strap away from the lenses, then tied the strap around the wound as at tourniquet.

 

As the bleeding began to slow as a result of the slower blood flow, Overdrive spoke. "That's all I can do for now. When we get back to camp, we can get you patched up more. Come on, I'll carry you back."

(Sry to post so soon, it's just that no ones posting and I've been waiting a while, so I'll just post.)

Lightning dreamed of all sorts of things.

But the main dream he had, was a road. 

A dirt road.

It looked familiar but Lightning couldn't quite comprehend why.

Further away, he could see a tall metal compound. A warehouse of sorts. 

Suddenly everything around him distorted, he felt small and weak.

He was a lot shorter than he was before now, and a lot paler blue. He was playing in some flowers, with a mare by his side. When he was near the mare he felt comforted, and safe. But he didn't know why.

"Now little one, you know never to accept anything a strange pony gives you. Curiosity or not, you must NEVER, EVER, trust a pony you do not know."

Rising takes out a little food to eat. He is hungry and nothing much happening here right now. He start eating, until he finishes and looks around. The ponies that were gone are still not here, so he get back to his toughs. I wonder why we are here and remember nothing at all. What is the reason we got chosed for? Is it for good? Is it for bad? I hope, we find more out soon ...

Overdrive burst into camp with the injured Wolfy on his back. "Guys, I need some help here. She's hurt."

 

He laid her down in the tent on a sleeping bag before grabbing the necessary medical supplies to treat her. "Alright, let me take a look."

 

Examining the wound, he noticed that reaggravated injury caused more harm this time. "Well, you certainly did a number on yourself," he noted.

Rising noticed the red stallion running to them with the white mare on his back.

 

"What happened?!"

 

Seeing the wound, he start feeling sick. I guess I can't stand so much blood to see .....

 

"Urgjh, that's a lot. Can I help somehow? I'm not really know what to do in those situations ..."
