A decade has passed since the deadly virus known as the Rot swept across Equestria, plunging the world into a new dark age. Every day is a constant fight for survival against roving bandits, and the deadly zombie-like Rotwalkers. It seems like there is no hope...until one fateful day, a young mare meets a lonely Rotwalker named Renegade.

Character Sheet

 

NAME: Renegade

 

AGE: 29, but biologically 19. 

 

GENDER: Male

 

Species: Rotwalker, Unicorn variety

 

APPEARANCE: Renegade, being a Rotwalker, resembles a shambling unicorn corpse. His coat, once a vibrant red, has dulled into a pale-ish green. His mane has fallen out, leaving only a few strands of black. The same goes for his tail. Due to the virus infecting his retinas, Renegade is mostly blind. His mouth has become a set of blackened gums, with only a few rotting teeth left. His cutie mark, a map, is still visible.

 

PERSONALITY: Renegade is one of the few intelligent Rotwalkers left in the world, despite losing most of it. He speaks broken English, able to construct simple sentences. He is a kind individual, simply trying to survive. 

 

BIO: Renegade, due to the Rot's effects, has lost much of his memory. From what he remembers, he used to be some sort of souvenir vendor. He also was one of the first to contract the virus. Since then, he has been trying to figure out more of his past.

NAME: Ali-Mei [AU apocalyptic version]

 

AGE: 25

 

GENDER: Female

 

Species: Pegasus

 

APPEARANCE: Ali-Mei is a pegasus with a dull orange coat and a very short purple mane and tail that often cause her to be mistaken for a tomboy. She wears an old but sturdy grey bodysuit-type thing that belonged to one of her ancestors, and she carries two weapons on her person - a dagger on her left front hoof, and a long blade strapped across her left side.

 

PERSONALITY: Ali-Mei is not one to make friends quickly; she often never trusts the individuals she associates herself with even if she travels with them for a long time.

 

BIO: Ali-Mei was always a warrior at heart. As a teen, Ali-Mei once trained other young ponies in the art of fighting with blades, but since the Rot she had less and less trainees until finally she had to close her place. Over the next few years, as Equestria gradually degraded, Ali-Mei learned a lot about survival and defending herself in an apocalyptic world, but she still has a long way to go.
