Stallionslaughter 394 March 14, 2015 Share March 14, 2015 (edited) I am working on a parody of "Doesn't Remind Me" by Audioslave (where it will be 'doesn't remind me of season 5.') Now, the issue is that I'm pretty new to music, (I've only been playing for about 4 years) and I can't solo yet, and that song has a really fast guitar solo in it. I know a scales, and I could noodle something within the scale of the song, but would that ruin it for everypony? Would that be a huge turn-off for the listener? In any cover I want to do, I am usually evaluating the difficulty of the solo because that's my basis for whether or not to actually do the song. The attached .wav file is the instrumental, and the best solo I could do is at 2:50. Please tell me if it's awful.
