Twilight Sparkle Graffiti

Gone for good

Recommended Posts

Being the rebellious little teenager I am, I was out and about at a really late hour and found an area with a whole bunch of graffiti. I'm no street artist, but I can respect the messages these people are trying to send and admire the skill and time they put into it, even if it is illegal. That being said, this one specific area I was in only had really simple tags and a couple of gang signs, however there was one thing that stuck out. While I was down there, I saw Twilight Sparkle. I just wanna say again that I did not draw this, and if the original artist finds this and wants me to take this down I will.

It's not the greatest piece of street art, but are there other pieces of MLP graffiti out there that you guys have seen? If so, post 'em up!

That's cool! Where was it exactly though?

lattitude 39°28'8.67"N

longitude 76°37'53.05"W Basically right there is a bridge, and underneath it I found the piece. This is a google earth approximation, so I am probably not exact.

Honestly, I've known about this for a long time now. My sister keeps telling me weird stories about some insane brony that goes there. The kid apparently gets bullied a lot, little to no friends, never showers, and is with the special education students. I'm not sure if this is the same kid or not, but I go by that area all the time because there is a little pond thing near there where I like to go and relax, but a lot of times I will see a kid hanging around right in front of this graffiti drawing things.

Anyway, even though it really wasn't any of my business one day I saw him with some cardboard and he was doing a painting over it. I was curious and decided "hey, this looks kind of cool lets go check it out." So, I go up to him, and kind of ask what he's drawing. He hides the cardboard from me, and begins to act really weird. He like, started shaking and breathing really heavily. After about five seconds of me contemplating whether or not I should say sorry and move on, he tells me that he is "tired of bullies" such as myself, throws the cardboard at me and then runs away. The painting on the cardboard looks like fluttershy looking at some light, and on the back it says "to whom this is gifted." He also left his materials, which was a palette that is already dried out and a paint brush, which I have actually started using (not the best move on my part.)

There's the really weird story that goes along with the graffiti that I didn't include in the opening post for some reason. It is really bizarre, and honestly I'm still shocked that something like this happened in my life, but it did. Anyway, I'm not sure if this kid was the artist of the graffiti or not but there's got to be a connection between the two of them somehow. But uh, yeah, if you are the artist of the fluttershy painting I still have it with me, assuming it's not finished, so if you want it back you should PM me and arrange to meet up with each other so I can give back what's yours. By the way, if you guys want to see this kid's work in progress I can scan it in. I actually like what he has made so far.

If it's not too much trouble, could you do that please? This whole story is really interesting to me. It's kinda like something out of a book. :P

Also, if I were you (after scanning and taking pictures of it to remember it by) I'd try putting it near the Twilight grafitti for when (or if) the kid returns so he can at least have it back. But since he threw it at you maybe you should keep it? I dunno. Interesting situation.
