It's strange hearing your voice sound a bit different when recording.

Most people have this reaction when they first start listening to their recorded voice.  Your song is off to a good start, in any case.  If possible, you might want to consider recording the guitar and vocals separately, then mixing them for an optimal balance.  There are plenty of free programs out there that will let you do some basic recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.

As other already pointed out, your voice seems a little subdued.  This might be due to a lack of confidence/experience.  It might also be due to self-consciousness, especially if there are other people around who might hear you singing.  Figure out which of these is a factor, and do what you can to eliminate the things that are holding you back.

Guitar sounds good, but it drowns out your voice somewhat.  That being said: I can't play guitar, and I don't think my singing voice is particularly good.  And singing / playing simultaneously would be impossible for me.  So I'm impressed that anyone can even do that. xD
