Times was laying on a raft, along with a mare. The raft was now sitting on the beach of a large island. They were Stranded. Times slowly woke up and lifted his head. "Wha-what happened?" He said as he looked around. He saw his glasses in the sand and grabbed them from the sand, shook the sand off and put them off. He looked at the mare on the raft next to him. He didn't know really who this mare was but they ended up on the same raft. He looked around at the beach.

Cuddle looked at Time. "Sleeping beauty finally woke up, eh?" She smiled. "We're stranded. My lovely travelling expense ruined... I was getting close to my next destination as well..." Sighs. "Oh well... Can be worse. I've survived things like this before." Checks shore. "Wanna head out to land here?"

Times looked at her "Well you are surely straight to business..." He said before yawning. He stood up and looked around "I always wanted to go to on an Island vacation, but not like this." He said. He stepped off the raft and looked around, he picked up a shell and looked into it, there was a hermit crab in it. He set back down the shell and looked at Cuddle "By the way, I'm Times" He said walking over to her.

"Charmed. I'm Cuddle." Steps out as well, thinks about taking the raft with her. And decides yes. "Now that you mention it, I could use a vacation... All that travelling wears a girl down some." Starts to haul up raft onto the shore, leaving drag marks in the dirt as she brings it up further then nessacery.

"What are you doing with the raft?" He asked as he walked with her. He looked at the forest farther away from the beach. "Well, I think it is safe we are not near the Equator, since that is a forest not a jungle. " He said as he saw the emergency case in the raft and took it out. "thank Celestia, we were able to get this."

Cuddle dropped the raft for a second to talk. "I'm bringing it for shelter, and that emergency kit will help some too... Trust me. I know what I'm doing, although it is a first to be an island I'm trapped on. But as you were saying, we were lucky. Hopefully  we're still lucky, and there's some nice food to eat here too... I'd hate to have to starve." Starts to drag raft again, determined to find a nice place to set up camp.

"I'm not much of a survivalist, I am actually just a shopkeeper from Cloudsdale." He said, he had the emergency kit hanging from his wing.  He chuckled "Yeah, I'm pretty sure starving is bad for your health" He joked, trying to lighten the mood "So... where are you from?"

Cuddle Cresent again dropped the raft, then gave a little laugh at the joke, and ended up smiling. "From here, from there... I travel. But where I grew up was in Canterlot. Never liked the big city, so I set off for the world as soon as I could have, without my parents being worried sick about me." She paused. "You?" She asks.

"My cousin lives in Canterlot. " Times said before saying "Me, I was born in Cloudsdale." He smiled. He walked up to her and said "Would you like some help with the raft?" He offered. He adjusted his glasses, and looked at Cuddle, who was clearly taller then him, much taller. She was probably even taller then his cousin.

Cuddle stopped what she was doing. "Thanks. I could use a break... I had to haul you into this thing, so I guess you can return the favour." She points a hoove to the other side. "Push over there... That'll help me a bit." She says blowing away a tuff of hair that got in her face. "And your cousin? What's his name? I knew a lot of ponies, some directly, and indirectly."

"His name is Chronos, He is a knight and noble." Times said as he got ready to push the raft. "You should meet him, he is a nice guy. Follows something called Chivalry, so he is always very polite. Nothing like other nobles who act like they are above everypony." Times said, a smile on his face.

"Really? Neat. I guess I had that quality too then. I've ever considered myself greater then nopony else." She said with the raft in mouth. "And a knight? Sounds pretty cool to be related to somepony like that... Can't say I've seen him before. Must be part of his Chilvaly to not be noticed much." While talking, she got distracted for a second, and loses her balance. She hit a rock on the ground and bruised her ankle. She grimced in pain.

" Him, not being noticed. Ha, good one." He said. When Cuddle fell, he flew over to her "Are you alright!?" He asked, he looked at her ankle. He removed the rock and said "Ouch... that looked like it hurt. You think you can still walk?" He asked. He looked at her. 'wow only 10 minutes in and we already got an injury' He thought.

Cuddle thought: Great... Now I have lost my pride... "I'm fine..." Tries to shake it off, wincng a bit more in pain. "You know, this is a rare thing for me... Probably why it hurts more then it should." Starts to limp, but sighs. "Can't believe I'm asking but... Will you carry this raft for me?" She asks unwillfully.

"You ain't walking if you are limping, sit in the raft, don't worry. I'm stronger then I look" He said. He wasn't asking, he wasn't going to have her walking with a limp, it would just make it worst by putting all her weight on three legs, ponies aren't built to do that. He stepped out of the way and gestured at the raft.

Cuddle sighed. But then decided to milk her injury. 'Just for awhile...' She thinks. Then she dramatically flops down on the raft with her head back. "You better be strong, because I don't want to hear a peep about my weight!" She said with a sly smile. "Now! Find us a place of rest!" She says acting like princess. She always wanted an oppurtunity to say stuff like that to others... Well this was the best she was going to get.

"You are my eyes while I'm doing this" He said and began pulling the raft, it was somewhat heavy but he managed to pull it. He tried talking as he pulled, he could barely be understood "thank you for taking my advice, I don't want ya walking if you only got 3 good legs"

"It was a logical decision... Plus I can be lazy sometimes. Can't be hard working all the time, it's hard work!" She sees a twig. "Watch out! It might break on impact!" She says with such intentsity, that it would be met with a jolting response. The twig would be merely crushed, if stepped on.

"Oh no... a twig... it is so dangerous" He said sarcastically, as he stepped on it, just crushing it. He kicked the pieces of the twig away and continued to pull the raft. He looked at her as he pulled, making sure she doesn't fall out. "Who isn't lazy sometimes, Hard work is called hard work for a reason."

She giggled at how he answered about the twig. Then regained her composure. "Well of course. What's work without a little play... More emphasis on the word 'lay'..." Cuddle kept eyes open for any dangers. "Hm... We need to find a place with access to fresh water. Plants will grow there as well, meaning more of a chance to find something to eat. Also, it'll supply us water. Sounds good?" She asks him, as if he were the boss.

He chuckled. He continued to pull the raft and said "Yeah, water is good." He smiled. After pulling for a little while he stopped and said "Friction is going to be the death of me..." He sighed and continued to pull "So... did you know anypony on the boat, before it began to sink."

Cuddle pondered that question for a second. "Some ponies. All their rafts drifted another direction... I hope they're okay. Or then I'll get pretty mad if they got injured!" She glanced at him and asked. "What about you? Did you know anypony on the ship?" She blinked, waiting for a response.

"No, I didn't know anypony on the ship. " He said. "I'm happy I didn't let any of my friends come, I know they are safe back in Equestria." He said, he knew that once the news of the cruise ship sinking, they would get worried. Who knows how long they would be here on this island.

"Lucky. I guess being social has it's disadvantages... But, can't change who I am, only if it's meant to be changed." She thought about how everypony else wild feel as well. Probably would say she's on another one of her crazy adventures... Not far from the truth, she guessed.

After a while of pulling, Times stopped and said "I need to take a break... how is you're leg doing doing?" He said as he sat down. They had finally made it into the forest so there was plenty of shade. In the distance, through all the trees something could possibly be seen, a pond. Times coughed before looking at Cuddle. He smiled at her.
