thepinkapocalypse 72 April 29, 2015 Share April 29, 2015 (edited) Pinkie Pie just needs more stand out moments. As long it's not in a way where the story has Pinkie Pie push the others into uncomfortable/difficult situations if the objective is to make them happy aka. Cranky Doodle Donkey. Oh I am sorry you mean rainbow dash not pinkie pie. but it does seem like hers stands out more. I still think half of the time people kinda exaggerate pinkie's flaws and make millions of excuses for rainbow dash when she screws up. TailsIsNotAlone 3,697 May 2, 2015 Share May 2, 2015 As far as role models go, Apple Jack would probably be the best. She has all the tedious virtues. Twilight does an OK but not perfect job raising Spike. Fluttershy would be excellent -if she could bring herself to punish her kids (The way Angel Bunny treats her is a sign she may not be up to it) As role models, the others aren't too bad, but need some seasoning before they are ready for the big leagues. "Tedious virtues"? I have to disagree there. The only thing tedious about Applejack is how much the fandom takes her for granted. Applejack works hard and takes care of her family without making a big deal about it. Those values make you a good person, and there's nothing tedious about that. I happen to think A.J. is the best role model on the show. I love Pinkie Pie as a character, but I don't find her to be the strongest role model overall; her diet and her impulsive nature count against her. And if I did take her as a role model, I would be exhausted just trying to keep up with the example she sets. Constant baking, songs, and parties really aren't my style. Justin_Case001 4,940 May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 Except that's not Pinkie. It's a changeling, man! Anyway, to the question at hoof, it depends which Pinkie we're talking about, because there are many. If we're talking about A Friend in Deed Pinkie, then yes, she's the best role model of all time. Filli Vanilli Pinkie, not so much. But overall, she an inspiration in my book. I so often wish I could have her kind of qualities. In moderation, anyway. But to have such a joyous outlook on life, to be so cheerful and spread laughter and smiles wherever you go--what a wonderful way to be. I wish so much that I could be like that. I'm more like Dr. House. And unfortunately, no matter how much one wishes it, you cannot just "be" different.
