Phoenix Flair 332 May 3, 2015 Share May 3, 2015 So... I really wasn't planning on posting this. And I'm not sure what changed my mind. But whatevs. A week or so ago, I was attempting a sculpt for my sister, and when that failed I decided to make a pony. Instead of going for a pony from the show, I decided to think up an OC on the spot and sculpt it. Which is totally out of character for me. I don't make ponies aesthetic-first style. At all. Except for this one, I guess. This was my original design made on the Pony Generator. I was kinda going for a mood rather than a character. Punk, kinda edgy without going straight to black and neon. Her colors were designed to clash a little bit, as if she had dyed her mane. This is how the sculpt turned out. I'm not quite pleased with this one. First of all, it's huge. Nearly twice the size of my Twilight sculpt. The left foreleg got all twisted, and the colors are not quite what I pictured. But on the other hand, I wasn't creating a character, just trying to capture a mood. And so I guess I'm kinda okay with this. I'm thinking of taking sculpting requests. Probably not right away. I want to finish all the Mane cast characters, and I've still got Applejack and Fluttershy left, but I think it would be kinda cool to practice sculpting on a few willing OC's.
