"Oh, wow! I see what you mean!" Jackie giggled and squeezed Abide tightly, not letting go. "So, it essentially helps you be less self-conscious, in a way. When you first explained it, I feel like letting my mind go blank would make me fall asleep, but now... Hmm, let me try something." Jackie chuckled inwardly before killing the focus of her gaze, pretending to let her mind go blank and suddenly kissing the mare on the forehead.

"Ah ha! It worked! Obviously I'm kidding, but I think it was a good excuse to do that. I'll have to actually sit back and try it for real some time."

Abide gave her a warm smile.  "Just do it when you want. It's a good tool to have sometimes." She kissed Jackie's jaw and nuzzled under her chin, kinda like a cat. "But it's always good to help you go with the flow. Going with what you feel then having to think about it too much." She rest hear head on Jackie's chest. "Gods, I can fall asleep right her for a thousand years. You're so worm, better then any bed." She nuzzled into her chest before closing her eyes.

"Hehe... Oh, you're actually gonna fall asleep, huh?" At this point, Jackie wasn't sure if she cared about drifting off or not. Laying there, cuddling, being nuzzled and loved up, her exhaustion came rushing back tenfold. Her eyes drooped and she looked down through half-lidded eyes at the mare on top of her. There was no way that Jackie could have ever thought a random day would have turned out like this. She yawned quietly and closed her eyes, as well. Within a minute, she was asleep.

 It took abide even shorter time to fall asleep. She hold Jackie as she still rest her head on her chest. Nuzzling her slightly as she slept. She wasn't lying or just being cute when she said Jackie was very comfortable. This was the most relaxing she's had. And that's saying something. She buried her muzzle a little deeper in Jackie's fur, like a she was a teddy bear, and kept sleeping. She also started snoring a little.

Jackie's dreams were plagued with random subconscious fodder, but were spotted with small points of sanity. Usually, whenever she was this tired, she didn't dream, but today was an eventful day. Her mind must've had some stuff to sort out. These dreams were interrupted when she tried to shift around, but found herself unable to move. Opening her eyes, she found Abide still lying their. Jackie was half afraid that her mind made up the whole thing, but luckily, that was proven false. Smiling, she closed her eyes once more, thankful for the soft carpet beneath her.

Abide dreamed pretty normal things. Mostly about things that happen to her today. Meeting new friends, getting a new girlfriend.That sort of thing. But Abide mostly dreamed about Jackie. Because why wouldn't she? She dreamed about how things could go for them, how being together would be like. How she could help Jackie feel more relaxed and chill on stressful days. 

 

As she kept sleeping she nuzzled Jackie a little more.

 

This went about till the next day. Abide was still lying on top of Jackie when she started to wake up. Letting out a long yawn  while rubbing her eyes.

Jackie was still out pretty hard. Seemed that she hit the deep sleep pretty well. Her head was cocked a little and turned to the side a bit. In her sleep, she heard noises that began to translate in her dream. A loud noise made itself known in her subconscious and she felt her face scrunch up a bit in confusion. She couldn't imagine what the hell it was. Her mind started to fill in the blanks and she found herself looking at... something with a wide mouth.

When the noise stopped, the creature disappeared and she found herself jarred awake. Abide was there and Jackie, half drunk on sleep, smiled goofily at her. "M... murnin'..."

ruby had stayed up thoughout the night, and cleaned up the room until it shined.

 

everything was placed in an organized manor, and all the dishes were washed/waxed, the yard was free of leaves, the refrigerator was cleaned out, and just about anything else that could've been cleaned, was.

 

ruby poked abide. "yo, i want my payment." she said.

 Abide groaned from being poked. She sat up and kissed Jackie's cheek. "Mornin', darlin'." She got up off her and rolled onto the floor, pointing at a bag of bits on her dresser. "There's about forty bits in there, Take twenty as payment and used the rest to get us breakfast, would ya? Get me a large helping of hash browns. You can keep the change if you want. I don't care." She said to Ruby before pulling a nearby blanket over her and hugging Jackie's arm lightly. "I'm gonna get a little more sleep, I ain't ready for the world."

(sorry about that! Got majorly distracted!) 

 

"That sounds great, actually. More sleep is exactly what the doctor ordered." Even if she wasn't going to have issues going back to sleep, the blanket just made it all easier. It wasn't long before their combined heat built up under the blanket, making it super toasty, ultra cozy and just downright comfy. "Are you sure you don't wanna get up?"

red grabbed the bits, and ran out. "alright, be back in a 'bit'" she chuckled at her little joke, and sped out.

 

she bought a can of sword polish, with her share, and bought seven or so hashbrowns with the remainder. 

 

she walked back, with the hashbrowns, and sword polish.

 

"yo!" she called out, "i got the goods!!"

Abide already fell asleep when Ruby left and when Jackie asked her question. She was clinging to her arm as she slept. After not too long when Ruby got back, Abide groaned. "Curse you hash browns. You're my one weakness against sleep. Looks like I got to get up now."

"Shit, hash browns? Save some for me." Jackie sat up and held onto Abide so that she wouldn't get tossed backwards by the motion. She gave the mare a kiss on the cheek and shakily got to her hooves, still quite groggy. If only there was a way to make waking up that much easier. Maybe there's a pill for that.

Abide also got up and leaned against Jackie a little as they walked into the dining room.When they made it Abide went to the kitchen and got some more soda and put her sunglasses back on. She came back and sat down at the table and started looking through the bag Ruby came back with. She got three orders of hash browns, letting the others have at the rest. She then started eating.
