 Has anyone ever wondered about all and every type of foods, the MLP would eat?

 

 For sure, the ponies would eat apples and dishes that were made from apples. And they most likely would eat foods with hay in them. But do ponies eat salads, vegetables, and veggie dishes? And what else would the ponies eat? Would they eat from the Eggs and Dairy food group, and the Breads and Grains food group?

We have seen them milk cows and use eggs in baking. Flutters has a chicken coop. Twilight ate a sandwich with slices of Bread.

I've never seen a pony in MLP eat hay. they seem to prefer fresh fruits and veggies.

Twilight didn't seem to mind a hayburger in Twilight Time and they eat cakes and such, so they don't seem to be restricted to fruits/vegetables. Considering we see shrimp on the plates in Inspiration Manifestation, they may not even be vegetarians , so this is a pretty open question.

A lot of the foods seen are usually party foods. Sandwiches, cakes, pies, souffle or other pastries.
