Applejack's Xenophobia?

Pony society in general has shown multiple examples of xenophobia both blantant and subtle and to single out Applejack for it is a bit unfair. Even as an Applejack fan I will admit that she acted the most bigoted and fearful out of all of them except for Pinkie Pie who was about even with her, but you have to remember that Applebloom and at Twilight Sparkle (at least at first) were the only ones who didn't given into baseless accusations and paranoia. Gilda was treated like Satan incarnate during Griffon the Brush off even though Pinkie Pie engaged in stalkerish behavior and Rainbow Dash saw the whole thing and still took Pinkie Pie's side. I am not saying Gilda wasn't wrong but they all kind of were.

Ironwill was called a "monster" multiple times by Rarity throughout the episode Putting Your Hoof Down. I am sure there are other examples but that is what I can think of off the top of my head. I don't see how Applejack's attitude toward the bats in the episode Bats was xenophobia. Applejack is a farmer and certain invasive species for a farmer can mean the difference between a good harvest and them and their entire family starving to death. Applejack being afraid and less reluctant than most of the others to harm the bats was completely understandable. How many of you can honestly say you wouldn't consider killing the bats as an option if you were in Applejacks situation?

Applejack does have xenophobia against outside the family apple based businesses like Flim Flam. She prefers to maintain a monopoly and can't stand competition.

The FlimFlam brothers like their names implied were con artists and it didn't take long for Applejack to catch onto that. It is not that Applejack is afraid of competition, the fact that she was actually willing to let them use some of her apples as part of a competition proved that. What Applejack dosen't like though is dishonest shysters who make unrealistic claims and take shortcuts to get ahead.

Apple Jack's "You wouldn't dare." reaction to being business competitors seems otherwise.
