There's a Keyframe Keygate tiff in the fandom now?

I dunno, maybe I'm late in hearing about it? Maybe early? I heard about a brony named Keyframe's dire situation with her family issues, through posted YT videos from supporters who wanted to get the word out, not too long ago. Heard that the donations flooded in and that she made a lot more than needed to get herself out of the situation she was in. I didn't donate, myself, but I did try to spread the word in the forum communities I visited. The issue kind of slipped from my mind until today, when i came across a YT video from Corpulent Brony bringing up the "Keygate" issue (is that now a thing in the fandom?), and bringing into question why things seem to be hush hush now that she got all that money, what she's gonna do with it, how she's spending it, and just basic update from her on the issue, thus far, and to be honest, it does have me concerned. That's a lot of money donated from people's own hard-earned money, thrown at Keyframe all at once, and most people her age, don't in fact, spend it wisely. And things Do seem hush hush on the issue, now. Or maybe I just haven't been in the loop to know as early as some people. I don't really know. Maybe a little of both? Like, how I didn't even know Keygate was this thing the fandom was jumping on, now. If y'all are.....

Anyway, what are your thoughts on "Keygate"?

Is there any proper proof that she didn't spend that money properly or she just didn't think about giving everyone a proper update on what is going on so it looks like she might be using that money for other purposes..

In this video, Keyframe details the pains she had gone through at home, dealing with her parents. She makes a variety of claims, but one with very specific detail mentions a livestream she did with ToonKritic:

 

"On december 23rd, during a livestream with toonkritic, my mother stormed in an attacked me, grabbing me by the arms, spitting in my face, slapping me, cursing at me, all leading up to her flinging me out of my chair and threatening to kill me.  Part of this event was live on the stream, with me not turning my headset on."

 

I took the liberty of locating said livestream. The incident Key describes occurs shortly after the 80 minute mark. Listen for yourself.

That would be my guess. Considering her situation and what she is wanting to do (move to California and attend college) it is a considerable amount of planning and work. She really can't rush into this and have it backfire on her.

Yep and we'll probably get an update after everything has been worked out and probably a thank you video. She doesn't seem to upload many videos so both in one seems likely.
