Octavia's New Hall - Part 2

In an effort to better organize our Artist Section for members we have begun the process of making minor changes to Octavia's Hall. 

 

Over the course of the next few days you will start to see several alterations in Octavia's Hall. Some of the initial changes that you will notice will be subtle. Descriptions, order, and placement of existing forums and sub-forums will be tweaked followed soon after by a fundamental structural change to Creative Resources. The planned Creative Resources modifications will make it much easier to ask for guidance as well as locate topics you can contribute to. You won't see those changes until we flip the switch so to speak. More to come on that later.

 

In the interim, have some Octavia while you pardon our construction fueled dust.

The next phase in this plan has begun (actually it already was in progress). but now I am to the point where I need to start on newer topics so I need to show my hand. 

 

Creative Resources used to be one forum for art help on every art medium thinkable. It was a mess. If I was a new member, and wanted to ask or research what the best tablet and software was for vectoring, it would be mixed in with YouTube collabs, singing, voice acting, plushie making, writing, game making, and OC creation. 

 

Since I joined this site I have personally wanted to provide guidance myself, but with topics titles like "I need help", it is tedious sifting through the topic list to find one that I can help with. Instead of harping on everyone to make their titles clear and concise, Creative Resources he being restructured to provide hubs for creators within their own field of knowledge. 

 

I will now begin moving newer topics into their appropriate NEW sub-forums. 

 

More will be forthcoming, like a FAQ, an index, and some robust tools and advice.

So we restructured Octavia's Hall as the second phase of this ... over the next few hours (and days) you will eventually figure out what what this is all about. Basically each art medium will have its own set of forums. A Creative Resources, Requests, etc. Music also has a spanking new Recommendation forum ... and you YouTubers get your own forum too!
