Symbols in usernames?

This is just a light hearted question and I think I know the answer. Will we ever have the option of adding symbols in our usernames like we used to  a long time ago? This was just something random that popped into my mind tonight.

I doubt so as it'd most likely make a few people use names like ~៘▓Yolo᧽Swag▓៘~ not that is really matters, it is kind of annoying but I personally don't care that much as long as it's not something ridiculous like my example.

 

I mean if we could allow just a few certain symbols and maybe put some sort of limit that you can only use max 3, it would be perfect. I don't think that this is a possibility, therefore I believe that they are and will not be allowed.

 

This is obviously just a guess.

 

Maybe, you could ask if they could change the name for you if you tell them what you have in mind. I don't know if the restriction is a ban of symbols in the change nickname field or a ban in nicknames/usernames in general. If the latter, they probably won't be able to do it without changing the restrictions for everyone.
