Vectorian Giotto Is Like a Free Flash Player,

There is a "free flash video maker" out right now called Vectorian Giotto. According to people who claim to know about this sort of thing, it works like Flash player. The prospect of a free Flash Player should intrigue any animator in the fandom. For someone just looking to animate his own OC and maybe a few friends, the chance to get a free version of Flash to do that for me is very intriguing. There are many high quality pony animation resources out right now for Flash Video Maker, but the Flash Video maker's .fla isn't the file type Vectorian uses. Does anyone, by any slim chance, have enough knowledge of Vectorian Giotto to either transfer the Flash files or make a new group of resources for animator bronies to use?

I'm not entirely knowledgeable about the inner workings of flash, so this might be a stupid suggestion, but would converting the .fla to a .swf (or another file type) work?

Theoretically that might but it has its own file type, .vgd. I don't think it acknowledges any non-open source file types and in the world of flash most file types are specific to the specific media maker, making them not open source. The closest I could find on the website (vectorian.com) was an explanation of their bitmap file types: "Bitmap may be in Windows Bitmap (.bmp), JPEG (.jpg), TIFF (.tif), PNG (.png), GIF (.gif), or ICO (.ico) format". Perhaps that may help?

 

I'm not knowledgeable about Flash myself, really... I started this thread because I want to learn, but don't want to pay the overly large the price tag that comes with any other Flash video program. I can't pay that! Also, if there is a free version of Flash, everypony else will benefit from it too. I am determined to get this figured out.
