Question! Cutie Mark Creators?

I've pretty much finished designing my OC with it, and it was OH SO SATISFYING!!! XD Trouble is, I have NO artistic talents, and he needs a cutie mark! The program lets you upload picture files and stamps them on your ponies rear for you, but I haven't been able to find exactly what I'm looking for cutie-mark wise.

 

For an ACTUAL artist though, slapping one together would be a ten minute job! XD Any suggestions on who I might turn to to lend a hand in this?

It's actually quite easy, to be honest.

You could just find apicture on google images.

Or, picece multiple ones together in photoshop. For example, duplicate a butterfly 3 times for Fluttershy. Etc.

I WISH it was that easy! Sadly, I don't have photoshop.......and if I did, I wouldn't have a clue how to use it. ;

Nothing too simple. A little grey cloud, with a white bolt of lightning zapping out of the button. He's a Pegasus, very talented with cloud manipulation. The cutie mart represents both his love of and connection to dark, stormy clouds, and the bolt of pure while lightning bursting from the clout represents his special talent......occasionally, he'll be struck by (metaphorical) bolts of inspiration. Like Pinkie Sense, he cant predict when it will happen, or how often. Some days, he'll just be out for a walk, see something that could need help or be improved, and a solution will just hit him!

What he said, but run the picture through a pencil filter in Photoshop so no one will know you didn't draw it. Filter multiple times for maximum power. :3

Run it through a what with the what now? O_O ...........Did I mention I have NO idea how to use photoshop? ; Seriously thinking of taking a class on it though. Is it worth it?

paint.net, is an easier to use and FREE photoshop x3 unless you know how to torrent

Look at mine, it's a golden shield!

 

I made it on paint, just made the base for a shield and made it look a little 3D by painting the back darker than the front, put some sparks on it and, here is the trick:

 

search for the colour you want to match it with, I used really light yellow and put it over the whole shield. In paint or easypaint or whatever it's called, you can use a brush for this. This way all the decorations on you cutie mark fit with it. Paste it on your flank and tada! You got a cutie mark!

Might I chime in and recommend GIMP? It's basically Photoshop for Linux, but it runs on Windows and is free. Different interface, but it has just about all of the same features. And if the original poster is still looking for a cutie mark graphic, I could do it. I've made several really nice ones in GIMP.

Now don't be giving Applebloom and the others any ideas. Cutie Mark Creators sounds a lot more tempting than Cutie Mark Crusaders.

 

And I'd like to recommend Paint.NET. It's a completely free program that runs on Windows. I use it all the time to create schematics for various purposes, but it can also be used to create amazing multi-layer images, my avvy and sig being simple examples. There is also an infinite action history which you can roll back to any point.
