Target is deciding to get rid of girls and boys gender labels on the toy aisle

So for those of you that dont know, target is removing all designations of gender on their toy aisles. Here is a more detailed description:

Either way target is removing all mentions of gender in terms of the toy aisle.

 

What are some people's thoughts on this seeing as many us make purchases of various of the my little pony toys in this retailer and other retailers and because this fandom is defying gender expectations in general by liking something ostensibly for girls. Its interesting for sure

I see so many on Facebook flipping their shit, and it's both hilarious and infuriating simultaneously.I just don't understand why this is such a big deal to anyone; is it really important that toys for your son are in a separate isle than toys for your daughter, and labeled as such? How does this affect your life in any way?
