*Schwartz gave a little laugh.*

"Alright then. Lets get going."

 

"it's a long walk from here, so we'd best move fast in order to set up a camp before it gets too dark." Overdrive left the house and began to walk down the street.

Electrobolt continued to sleep as he smiled, the events that happened so far having been amazing. Well, all the events except for him almost falling from Cloudsdale due to a mis-estimated spell length. But besides that, today was amazing. He began to snore lightly, as he began to dream about being a pegasus, being able to soar through the sky and walk on clouds without any sort of assistance. Needless to say, Midnight was in his dreams as well, flying alongside him and trotting on the clouds side-by-side.

midnight smiled and wrapped his wing tightly around electro, his dreams seemingly joining his lovers, as they flew through the sky, dancing among the clouds and open air.

"Or, we could take the train. I still have some free train ride passes. Enough to get us there and back."

Electrobolt smiled, hugging Midnight while he was still asleep and dreaming. In his dreams, as the two of them soared through the sky, he looked over to Midnight, a great big smile on his face. The next thing he knew, Electrobolt hugged Midnight as they hovered in place. "Oh, I love you so much, Midnight..." he said, still smiling. He awaited a response from Midnight, still hugging him tight as they hovered in the air.

midnight smiled, "i see youve grown some wings," he chuckled "and i love you too, youve been the best coltfriend this stallion could ask for." he smiled and hugged electro tightly.

Electrobolt's smile only grew wider when he heard Midnight's response as he now began to kiss him passionately. The two of them remained in the sky still as they kissed. Once the kiss was broken, he looked straight into Midnight's eyes as he said, "I truly am the luckiest colt alive..." He then hugged once more. Just then...

 

At that moment, Electrobolt's eyes opened as he looked around. Seeing that he was back in Midnight's room, he sighed. "That was a wonderful dream..." he whispered to himself. "Why did it have to end...?" He realized he was still hugging Midnight, and a small smile found its way back onto his face. Midnight was sound asleep, and from the looks of it, having a nice dream. Leaning in towards his face, Electrobolt gave him a small kiss as he lay there, still hugging Midnight.

midnight awoke just after "first great dream in a long time, "he chuckled softly, the kiss seemed so real." then when he awoke he noticed electro was up and hugging him tightly, midnight smiled "mmm morning." he giggled, "have a good dream?"

Electrobolt chuckled as he replied back, "Morning... And good dream? Try fantastic dream!" He could still remember every detail of that dream, and it brought a great big smile to his face. "It was the best dream I had in, well, ever! I had wings, I could fly through the air, and most importantly..." He then gave Midnight another kiss before saying, "You were in it too..."

Midnight blinked, "really......thats.....just like my dream.;..." he kissed back with a big grin on his face, "your kinda jealous of pegasai arent you?"

he nuzzled his lover softly, "i can see it sometimes, this dream just confirms it."

Electrobolt began to blush when he heard what Midnight had said, although mostly because of his second statement. "You... You think we... Had the same dream... At the same time...?" he asked, his mind still thinking about the whole thing. "And... Yeah... I am..." He sighed as he continued, "Ever since I got to feel what it was like to actually walk on a cloud, and feel what it's like to soar through the sky without any worries... I just wish I could experience all that freely..."

"pfft, where's the fun in that? You're a strong mare, I'm sure you can take a little hike." Overdrive gave Schwartz a quick kiss and resumed walking. They were now just outside of ponyville.

 

"But on a train we could get drunk and not have to worry about getting lost."

*Schwartz pointed out.*

 

 

(Dammit Ten! Now I can barely take her seriously either!)

midnight giggled, "mabey, that would be soo cool," when electro admitted he was jealous, midnight sighed and nosed his partner, trying to cheer him up "listen, we can go any time you like, i know the spell dosent last forever, but, i can still take you flying at any time." he smiled, "and besides, you have the ruins to look forward too, right?"

[Electrobolt 2,069]

Shaking his head, Electrobolt responded, "But it's not just that... I want to be able to fly on my own... So that I can do all those things I did in my dream... You know, dance in the sky alongside you, all that stuff..." He let out a sigh before hugging Midnight, a smile resurfacing on his face. "But as long as I'm with you... As long as I'm with you, I'm happy..." After giving him a small kiss, he added, "And yes... We shall go explore the ruins. I'm so looking forward to that."

midnight smiled and nodded, thinking, "someday soon, ill see if twilight might be able to do just that." he thought mabey for electros birthday, but midnight smiled, "mm, i can tell your excited," he nuzzled electros neck, "but first, we need food, then get you a hat similar to daring's, THEN we can go."

Electrobolt chuckled as he nuzzled against Midnight's cheek, smiling. "Yeah, we should do all of that before we go," he replied to Midnight, as he let go. "I'll be going to the kitchen. I'll wait for you there, alright?" Giving another kiss, he got off of the bed and, opening the door, began to head upstairs into the kitchen.

midnight kissed back, "alright my love."

he streached and got off the bed, streaching his wings, he turned and pulled on his saddlebags, then walked over, strapping his quiver of arrows to his rear left leg.

he looked up at the bow that sat on its pegs, it had been a present from princess luna, it was made of pure energy, but his cutie mark was embolized on it, and it glowed with stars.

he picked it up and got it on his back before trotting upstairs himself.

As Electrobolt walked into the kitchen and approached the fridge to get out a bottle of juice, he saw a note stuck under one of the fridge magnets. *Hmm? What's this?* he thought, taking the note off the fridge and sitting down at the table, reading it. "So that's why it was pretty quiet in this house..." he muttered to himself, reading it over again.

midnight hugged his lover from behind, "whats this?" he took a look at the note, "so their gonna be gone for a little while?"

Electrobolt chuckled when he felt Midnight hug him from behind. When he heard Midnight ask if Overdrive and Schwartz were going to be gone for a while, he shook his head. "Actually," he began, "I think that they were wanting us to meet them at Manehatten. I'm not sure if they're already there or not, but they left this note for us to either meet them along the way or at the town." Looking up to Midnight, he asked, "How about it? You wanna go?"

midnight shrugged and smiled, "sure, it could be fun." he grinned, "they should be not too far away, so if we fly, we can catch them."

Electrobolt nodded as he was about to suggest leaving now, before his stomach growled. Blushing slightly, he said, "I think we should eat first, before we go catch up to them..." He then walked back to the fridge as he opened it, pulling out some juice. Then he grabbed a glass out from the pantry before pouring the juice into the glass. After he finished pouring his glass, he looked over to Midnight, asking, "Would you like a glass, too?"

midnight nodded and smiled, "yes i would..." he yawned, "l-love." he streached, and sat at the table and giggled, "i like how in only a few days or so, weve become so comfortable with each other," he smiled and when electro had returned to the table he put his off on his lovers.

"and i wouldnt have it any other way."

As Electrobolt pulled out another glass for Midnight, he chuckled upon hearing Midnight yawning. "Didn't get enough sleep?" he jokingly asked. After putting the juice bottle back into the fridge, he grabbed one glass at a time before going back to the counter to get the other one. After setting the other glass on the table and sitting down, he felt Midnight put a hoof on his own. He smiled from what Midnight had said, and gave his hoof a kiss. "I wouldn't have it any other way, either..." he responded back.
