Steel heard her moving and seen the door open she could see the out line of him walking down the hall holding a hoof up he looked in a door and found the bathroom flipping a light on with his good hoof his blood catching the light he set to work looking for bandages

Lily let out a small sigh when she saw Steel, she wasn't sure if that was good news or not yet, especially since he looked hurt and with the monster out there...or in here she thought nerviously, she slowly walked down the hall to the bathroom and knocked on the door with an armored hoof. "Steel? Are you ok? The monster didn't get in did it?"

Steel opened the door "I'm fine lily if the monster was in here id be fighting it" he said "I wouldn't let it up here to you I'm just looking for a bandage go on back to sleep no need to worry" he said and gave a small smile trying to keep his injured hoof hidden his knife had done a number on his hoof

Lily stared at Steel for a long moment. "Well if you say so, you don't seem too hurt at least, will you still be able to help us later though, you're kind of stuck here for a while with that avelanche and all but still.." She said while staring at the ground, "I might have some bandages in my room if you don't find any in here. I should probably take a look at that hoof though first. She walked over to him, her armor barely making any noise and slowly took his hoof and turned it over, seeing that it was pretty deep but not too long of a cut.

He nodded "I'll be fine and ive fought battles with worse injuries" he said "and I haven't had any luck with bandages yet so if you have some that would be great" his eyes glowing in the dim light as he looked at her -this mare is actually concerned that I'm hurt-he thought -this is strange-

Lily looked at it for a few moments then let his hoof go. "Well if you're absolutely sure you'll be all right, if not at the very least you can be bait while the rest of get away." She said very jokingly with a small wink. "I can go look real quick I think I saw a small first aid kit, not worth taking with us probably but it should help fix your hoof at least." Lily quietly walked back to her room so she didn't wake up the others and took off her armor since there wasn't anything attacking. She went into her bathroom and dug around a bit pulling out a small first aid kid that didn't hold very much and brought it back to the bathroom Steel was in.

Steel was sitting there waiting he had his hoof in the sink with water running over it she could see sevral scars on his side when she walked in he looked over at her and smiled "awesome you found one" he said "I can bandage it " he said holding out his other hoof for the kit

Lily walked in and stared at Steel's scars for a few moments, she wanted to ask if he was ok again but she decided not to risk upsetting him, they were supposed to be fighting a monster, not themselves. Lily looked up in his eyes again "are you sure you don't want me to help you with it? it seem's pretty deep".

Steel smiled meeting her gaze "well I suppose if you want to help you can" steel said he had noticed her looking at his scars for him they where a sorce of pride they spoke of battles fought and won he didn't say anything though he stepped to the side so that she could get to his hoof

"Well at least I could stop you from getting blood all over the place, the mayor might come back someday you know." Lily managed a small smile as she took his hoof in hers and slowly started wrapping a bandage around it being careful not to hurt him more. "So if you don't mind me asking this, where did you get some of those scars?" She asked while making sure the bandage was nice and tight so it wouldn't fall off in battle or in the wind.

Steel smiled "well the long one in my side same form my father" steel said "it was the day I became the head my family my grandfather decleared me as the heir directly after his death my father chalanged me for control of the family..." Steel said trailing of "we fought to the death"

Mist tossed and turned in his sleep. In his dream he was fighting IT alongside his new friends, without warning IT grabbed Sparkle and ate her in one bite. IT then turned to Mist and crushed him with it's claw.

 

Mist woke with a fright. He was covered in sweat. He looked over at Sparkle, who was still asleep. 'what a relief,' Mist thought to himself, 'it was just a dream.' Mist tried to get back to sleep but kept seeing the horrible image of IT in his head. 'I just need some warm milk to calm me down,' thought Mist as he quietly got of the cushions, 'I'm sure I saw a fridge somewhere down stairs.' He then climbed down the stairs and went to look for something to drink.

Sparkle woke up startled by the sound of Mist wakeing up and walking around and got out of bed herself "m...Mist? Wh...what's happening did IT get in? And did I mention that I'm scared and nervous and still scared" Sparkle said standing in the door way shaking (12:00 A.m aka midnight )

Mist stopped and turned to face Sparkle, "Don't worry nothing like that has happened, I just had a nightmare." Said Mist as he continued to look for a fridge, "I thought I'd see if this place had any milk. to you know help me get back to sleep." Mist soon found what he was looking for and poured himself a glass. He looked at Sparkle, "you want some too?"

Sparkle sighed "oh I thought something had happened to you... " she walked into the main living room and looked out the window "Mist? Tomorrow morning I'm gonna go and have a wander around the town search for clues and such, you mabye wanna help me?" Sparkle said looking back "oh and that's a no on the milk"

"Of course I'll help you," Said Mist as he put the milk away, "It'd be my pleasure." Mist took a sip of his milk. It'd be nice to finally have a look around this town. Especially when it wasn't snowing so much. Mist made his way up the stairs but stopped and turned to Sparkle," we should probably get some sleep if we're gonna be exploring the town tomorrow."

Lily heard the other two walking past and thought about saying something to them but decided against it, she figured Steel didn't want them asking questions and she wasn't too sure she did either. Lily finished wrapping the bandage around Stee's hoof and stepped back staring at his scars and shyly touching the long one "Well I guess that means you won then?" she said jokingly. "I'd try to go easy on that hoof when we're not aroud the others if I were you,wouldn't want to make it worse"

"Of course I'll help you," Said Mist as he put the milk away, "It'd be my pleasure." Mist took a sip of his milk. It'd be nice to finally have a look around this town. Especially when it wasn't snowing so much. Mist made his way up the stairs but stopped and turned to Sparkle," we should probably get some sleep if we're gonna be exploring the town tomorrow."

"Yeah probably" Sparkle said flying along side him " I wonder what's out there? There could be a room of jelly or eggs or something slightly more normal for a frozen town... How 'bout frozen yogurt that makes sense right? What about cookies? Because every time I leave some out at heartswarming eve the next day they're gone! And I've heard stories about a pegasus stallion that comes down from the north mabye his cookie storehouse is in this town!"

Mist smiled, "In a town with its own snow monster I certainly don't think a cookie storehouse is out of the question." Mist finished the rest of his milk. "and some cookies would go great with this milk, " Said Mist as he lay on his cusions. "so we'll head off to town first thing in the morning, right?"

"Yep" Sparkle said landing on the bed "wait didn't you drink all your milk? How can you drink it again? Unless you're magic?! No wait that's dumb... Your not are you? " Sparkle didn't give him time to answer as she curled up and went back to sleep dreaming about the town outside

Steel nodded "I did win and to this day I haven't been challenged again" he said "but I won't take it easy my hoof will be fine " steel said looking at lily as she touched the scar "thank you for helping me" he said he wasn't used to taking people or asking for help

Mist smiled, 'Oh Sparkle,' Mist thought to himself, 'you are so crazy,' Mist lay on his back and stared at the ceiling. He wondered what would await him and Sparkle when they explored the town tomorrow. "Night Sparkle," he said quietly. He then turned on his side, closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Sparkle mumbled something as she slept "night... Mist....lo..." Then she stopped but what she was gonna say was pretty obvious when she had reached that point .so obvious that I bet you can work it out. If you can't or are just lazy she was saying "love" and the final word? "You" in that order

Mist opened his eyes. Had he heard Sparkle right? Was she about to say "love you"? Mist shook his head. No that was impossible. She had already said he wasn't her type. But there was that kiss. Mist blushed. He shook his head again, no that was just to say thank you for letting her have the bed. Mist sighed, suddenly tomorrows trip into town just got a whole lot more complicated.

Lily gave Steel a concerned smile "You're welcome, but I still think you should take it easy on that hoof, if not for the others than at least for me. It'll make less work I mean." Lily looked away with a small blush. I suppose we should get to bed then, it's going to be a long day tomorrow.
