How do I make a OC (Computer)

I draw oc's and ponies. But around the forums and other MLP websites, bronies

have oc's that look like they are from the MLP: FIM. Can anyone suggest a website I coud use. Or maybe I have to use Microsoft Pait.?    I would like to know how to

do that .

As @ooBrony mentioned, the simplest approach is via the pony creator, though I'll suggest using the 3rd gen tool at http://generalzoi.deviantart.com/art/Pony-Creator-v3-545889253.

 

If you want to go beyond what the pony creator offers, the approach is to reference style guides for the show (such as those offered by SorcerousHorserous for heads bodies Wings) and then draw your OC in your favorite tool. Adobe Flash is the tool of choice if you want to get as close as possible to the show, though Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop are very common alternatives.
