Hello @Doodle_Bolt,

As you're seeking assistance on how to draw, I've moved your topic to a more appropriate section -- Visual Art Help.

I think I can help, but I need to know which area on digital art you need help with. What do you want help with specifically?

Alrighty, so there are many ways most digital artists draw. But the most common way is to draw by using an art tablet. Art tablets are really great when it comes to creating line art, but they are expensive. If you're interested in buying one however, then the first tablet I'd recommend you purchase is something from the Wacom line. Wacom sells high-quality art tablets and is used by many professionals.

I would also highly advise you to use Paint Tool SAI. While Photoshop is still an option, that is more meant for photo editing and manipulation. SAI on the other hand is designed for digital art and painting only. Many skilled artists like to use SAI, but they also like to have more than just one program for other stuff, namely effects and opacity changing. Alternatively, you could also go for a more obscure digital art program called FireAlpaca. It has less options than SAI, but it still operates very well. It's also a great program for beginners in my eyes. I use FireAlpaca as my main program for line art as SAI is unavailable on the computer operating system I am using. Other digital art programs you can use include Gimp, Inkscape, Manga Studio and a whole lot more.

One more thing I would highly suggest for you to do is to browse tutorials on art. DeviantArt has a chuck load of tutorials regarding all sorts of things, from shading to lineart, as well as creating a background.

If any of this confuses you, let me know. Good luck! :)

You can Google Search them. All of the programs I have listed have their own official site. Admittedly, not all of them are for free, but you can still get an idea on which one you like the most. ;)
