"I guess we'll be living in style for a bit while we protect her" She said looking at the building "the princess sounds very nice, could we talk to her sometime? Probably after all this because I don't think having her being worried that murderous assassins would be good for anyone...not saying we would tell her" she opened the door to the two floor building with a lovely living room being shown "I wish I had a home like this before, the shop and backroom kind of were my home"

John took off his jacket, revealing a red shirt. He took off his bowtie and sat down on the couch. "Well, i have a home everywhere. I don't have a place i call "Home" Since i'm constantly moving to places where the princesses need me" Said John. He looked at Dark. "Enough about our lives, let's focus on the mission"

"wow, simply taking two things off make you look like a normal person that looks like he spent no time as a gentleman" she chuckled and sat on the couch too "ok so what about specifics? Is there anything that the assassins have as a sort of give away? Or a signature thing they do so they won't get caught/ something they do first to a target?" she tried to think more "what about the princess? What does she look like so I can tell her from others and what places does she visit often when its night?"

John took out a folder, and threw it on the table. "These assassins are very dangerous. They are sneaky, deadly, fast and precise." Explained John. "We need to be constatnly alerted of our surroundings. The only flaw that they have, is that they have a precise time that they strike, if we are just around her at that time frame, then nothing should happen" Explained John. He took off his monocle. "My eye will allow me to see everything at night, but i'm completely blind at day. So i recommend that we split this up. We'll patrol during day, and i'll patrol alone during night, since i don't need sleep" Said John. He thought carefull at her last question. "Well, she is blue with a purple mane. Her cutiemark is a hourglass. She is talented in time magic, and she doesn't go anywhere at night, so my job should be easy"

"so I have the hard part then? Also she has time magic? I never studied it but know a little about it from my father how blabbered about all types of magic, even forbidden kinds...he had one or two scrolls I didn't read from that magic" she thought a bit about the assassins "so a certain time? Maybe we could learn it some how without guessing and having them come back because assassins kind of act like that with persistence"

John nodded. "Yes, i was thinking that we should try and find there "Specific time" But that's going to be hard considering they hide it really well." Said John "And no, you actually have the easy part, since i'm going to be helping you at day time. Now her time magic is too complex for me to understand, but it's really powerfull. However she has no way to use that magic offensively, so she can't use it in fights." John stroked his mustache "Well, let's find the princess first, then we can adopt after her schedule" Said John and put on his usual attire "You comming miss Shine?"

"yes" she got up from the sofa "when you start your shift I'll be checking up on my store, see how things are going and come back here to sleep" she walked to the door "now how would we find her? Would we have to think like a little kid because if we did then I have that covered entirely" she chuckled opening the door

John brought a hand up to his chin "Hmm... She should be in ponyvilles new library right now, so let's start off with going there. Since it's on the other side of this town, we have a lot of time to talk." John and Dark rounded a corner "So i have been meaning to ask... Are you experienced out in the field?" Asked John

"no, not on a mission like this...I house sited for a friend once when someone broke in, I detained him after a few spells" she thought if she should give his name but decided not to "so how many times have you been in the field? Kind of a stupid question but still" she continued to walk with him

John thought for a bit. "Quite a lot. Every major title in the newpaper was me for the last year, but i have been out in the field... For 6 years now." Said John. They passed by the local bakery. "I unfortunately get a lot of missions, because i'm apparently the most elite assasin. Though i would prefed to not be. Would have given me some peace you know?"

"I can understand, I always get orders to make and ship potions for everyone from all across equestria and a secret base just at the edge of the badlands. Reminds me that I hope no one needs my potions to much as I'm away and then what if its a really special one that I don't have the ingredients for...but I guess Luna must have thought of something" she said bringing herself back to her positive self hoping for the best

John nodded "Sounds tiresome. Reminds me of my days in the griffon kingdom. Had to seduce a griffon princess to get information regarding a war, so i had to keep up a facade for a whole week!" Said John shivering at the momory "A word of advice, don't date griffons unless you have are ready for... Some new experiences" Said John with a disturbed look

"yeah I never planned to date a griffon...for many reasons" she paused and thought for a second "well you never know, she could have just been weirder than other griffons...also think about how it could have been worst, it can always be worst" she remembered her own experiences even if they weren't as bad as John's "after you think about the worst things that could have happened, think how lucky you are those didn't happen" she saw the library

John nodded "That is the way i prefer to view the world, but i'm unfortunately not very good at it" Said John as they walked inside the library. A lot of people where scattered around the library, some with textbooks, others with romance novels. But what caught his attention the most is the silver coated princess at the top of the stairs. "There she is" Whispered John quietly to Shine

"oh my...she looks under dressed as a princess" she says looking at the princess how looked like she had only a small normal silver dress on but it attracted to the eye from how clean it was and how it caught the eye with more than one sense as it was even making a scent that Dark could smell from the door, faintly. "So how do we approach her?"

 

(do you want to be her? Because I can see playing her as well)
