Inside Blazes and Gumballs VIP room

Blaze pulse collapsed on a couch in the VIP room. He was completely drenched in sweat from the show. He looked over at Gumball “Today was quite the day, eh? I didn’t expect this many ponies” Said Blaze as he grabbed a soda from the mini bar. He walked over to the window and looked out at the crowd that was going wild over some other DJ’s. He let out a sigh “There aren’t even any pretty mares we can ask out without getting assaulted because of their fangirl-ish behavior” Said Blaze with a disappointed frown. Afterglow violently swung her long hair from side to side in beat to the intense hardcore styled track booming through the speakers onto the raving mass of ponies before her. Even though she was moving her head to music she constantly took her time to check that everything was going and planned and that her music sounded perfect in every way.  As the song was quickly building up towards the quickly phased drop smoke started flow from the floor of the stage out towards the crowd, soon only silhouettes of excited movements and the technicolored light of glow sticks were breaking through the haze.

 

Lights started flickering as the music stopped for a brief second before the hefty base kicked in and the mass of ponies, The drop intensified as it progressed and the crowd only got more excited. "Alright, LET'S CRANK THE BASE ALL THE WAY UP TO 11." she shouted and the speakers echoed her voice as large teal lights lit up behind her visualizing her as another silhouette to the crowd. Her cutiemark was  starting to emit vague colors in beat with the music.

 

The awarding drop had yet to end and was still only intensifying now booming at immense speed meeting the exhilarated crowd, Her cutiemark was in complete sync with the music at this point emitting and array of lights. The vigorous music suddenly took an end and Afterglow quickly turned to Neon Beats, "They're all yours!" implying it was her turn to take over.

Neon smiled as she jumped up on her hind legs and Dropped the bass, Electrifying the crowd as she turned to her partner, she always loved this part, the crowd jumped and danced to the music, But it was the work between her and her partner that would really make them start going wild.

"I'm pretty sure there is somepony out there who would be the perfect match for us, you know" said Gumball. Blaze still looked disappointed. "Dude, cheer up. At least we had one hell of a time up there on stage, dropping all those beats! We rocked that crowd, a lot! Everypony loved us! I am certain someone would in the crowd would have been going all: 'Oh, Blaze! Oh, Gumball! I wanna marry you! Drop that bass again! Oh!'".

Gumball walked over to Blaze, holding his lemonade with his magic. He heard what he said, so he came to cheer him up. "I'm pretty sure there is somepony out there who would be the perfect match for us, you know" said Gumball. Blaze still looked disappointed. "Dude, cheer up. At least we had one hell of a time up there on stage, dropping all those beats! We rocked that crowd, a lot! Everypony loved us! I am certain someone would in the crowd would have been going all: 'Oh, Blaze! Oh, Gumball! I love you so much!'".

Blaze chuckled "Yeah, we did indeed rock the scene and the crowd was going apeshit" Blaze shook his head "I'm sure a lot of those mares shouted that, but they only like us for fame and money." He took a sip of his soda "I... Just feel like getting a real relationship ya know? But stuff like that tends to get hard, when you are famous" He observed the DJ's that were currently playing. He quickly identified them as pegboard ponies, their biggest rivals. But despite his little hate for the duo, the pony with the purple hair stood out to him. Her smile and her look was a breath of fresh air for Blaze "Dude, our rivals are playing right now" Said Blaze, snapping out of his thoughts

She met her partner with a determined smile and kept on swinging her hair in sync with the beat and raised her hoof into the warm air, Her entire leg was wrapped in purple and cyan glow sticks. 

 

The atmosphere was static and Afterglow found herself in utter euphoria as the bass shook the stage they stood on. This was the last song they'd play before ending the concert only to soon return to the scheduled tour. The song started to calm down an suddenly faded out as the lights froze in their current color.

 

She loosened one of the glow sticks she around her leg and threw it out in the mass of ponies, And the applauds ensued. She once again gave her partner a huge smile as she was happy with yet another successful concert.

"Damn, it's the Pegboard Ponies." muttered Gumball. "I have feeling that they're just switching to their 'Cool Mode' so they can try to impress us, you know? What we're seeing right now might not be who they truly are. They are probably just a bunch of wannabes, which is far from who everypony thinks they are." He said to Blaze. Gumball was a little envious of the duo. He watched as the Pegboard Ponies jumped around on the stage deliriously. Blinding lights flashed everywhere. The music was booming so loudly from the speakers that him and Blaze could hear it from inside the VIP room. "So, the Pegboard Ponies think they can beat the unstoppable Equestrian House Mafia? I don't think so." Gumball said. He took a sip of his lemonade without taking his eyes off the two mares. Even though Gumball was a bit jealous of the Pegboard Ponies, there was something about the blue pegasus that amazed him. Her appearance bedazzled Gumball and her smile was adorable to him.

We are probably the best house producers in equestria and we do NOT get shit on or take any any shit from ponies." He raised his drink for a toast "Cheers mate, let's not think about this too much" Said Blaze and downed the drink. He threw away the thrash into a thrash bin and went back to the mini bar. He pulled out an expensive looking vodka and two double shot glass. He gave Gumball an excited grin "Let's taste this girl"

As far as she was concerned, nothing mattered more than this moment, they had to make an impression on all of those watching, so she turned to her partner, banging her head to the music. "Who ready to finish this thing?" She grinned and threw her own glow sticks, though most of hers were swinging on her tail. As she waited for her partners response, she started getting everything ready, building up the music, Which made the crowd go crazy.

"Hell yeah!" exclaimed Gumball. "Nothing like a glass of vodka late at night, I tell you." Gumball quickly poured some of it into his glass, which was levitated with his magic. Gumball then quickly gulped it down under ten seconds. "I guess you're right, Blaze. We should just stop worrying about those two and just care about ourselves." he said. "I guess so. After all, one guy told me it's best to befriend your rivals rather than be enemies for the rest of your life." said Gumball. "Looks like they're finishing off now. You ready?" he told Blaze. So they both set off to talk the two mares. "We should take it easy. Like, let's try not act like dickheads, and actually, you know, be nice and agreeable. It's been a while since we last spoke to them."
