  2. Yay the forums are alive again.

  3. Sometimes i feel like I joined the fandom too late, like I missed out on the glory days. Is it true? Only now I got back into it. :(

A lot of the fans feel that way - we read of the great conferences and gatherings that we can never attend, the flood of fan art, music and other creative work we cannot now be a part of, and so forth.

But we still HAVE that legacy, and can still build on that foundation.

it's never too late when you enjoy the magic of friendship :3

  4. The end is finally here. It's been a great 7 years in the fandom, wow. A great show that has touched the hearts of many, including my own. Thanks to all the cast and crew who taught us what friendship could be. ;)

  5. I created a new blog entry, commemorating the end of MLP. It's been a great ride. :yay:

  6. Ever since I first got hooked onto the show in mid 2013, my life had changed for the better. Out of every show or movie i've ever watched, none of them has taught me or shaped me as a person as much as MLP did. I remember joining the fandom like it was yesterday, instantly creating fan content and discussing my new interest with my friends, some of who are bronies themselves. I got to admit, even though I temporarily stopped watching around season 6, I never lost interest entirely. It's just that I had so much other life issues getting in the way like school etc. Earlier this year however, I heard news that MLP would airing its final season. Because of this, so many memories flooded back to me, to the point where watching the season 9 trailer almost made me cry. I was about to witness the end of a large portion of my childhood, and this wasn't the first time I felt this. When Adventure Time ended, I began to feel the end of an era for animation, as well as the beginning of a new era. I remember back in 2010 when Adventure Time was first announced as a new show through promos. Now that the end is finally here, I just want to say that it has been one hell of a ride, but we made it. Even after MLP does end, I may or may not continue being a fan after a while, but I will never forget the memories that I created while in the fandom. I truly do hope that Gen 5 does justice to the franchise as a whole and hopefully it will bring in more fans in the future. Thanks to the crew and the VAs for bringing a wonderful cartoon to us all.
  7. I find it cool how the Pokemon Company coincidentally revealed Ponyta's Galar form on the 9th anniversary of MLP. Nice.

  8. Even to this day, I still miss Avicii.
  9. Throughout history, humans experience different events and are brought up in different lifestyles depending on what time period or generation they were born in. Here is a list of the generations we know: The Silent Generation: Born from 1925 to 1945 The Baby Boomers: Born from 1946 to 1964 Generation X: Born from 1965 to 1980 Generation Y a.k.a. Millennials: Born from 1981 to 1996 Generation Z a.k.a. Centennials: Born from 1997+ I belong to generation z, as someone born in 2001. So, which generation do you all belong to? Do you believe in the concept of generations? What did you experience as you grew up and how did that compare and contrast with other people your age?
  10. For the worst movie i've seen, it has to be Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. Oh boy, I watched this one at my friend's house one time. I swear to god it's the most boring, unfunny comedy ever, I fell asleep in the middle of it. I managed to get quite a few laughs out of the first Mall Cop, but its unnecessary sequel had nothing for me. I had a hard time identifying which parts of dialogue were supposed to be jokes. I'm even getting bored just trying to describe it. Actually, never mind. There was one moment that made me chuckle. A bit. When he gets CGI ass kicked by a horse at the end. Seriously, that one moment alone looked so bad it was hilarious.
