My grandfathers passing

My grandfather who was in the Vietnam war and had cancer passed away today. I don't know how I should feel right now. The last time I saw him it was lat Saturday, he was laying in bed in the living room sleeping. My father told me he could not barely talk. The only time he spoke to me was to say hi & goodbye. I had to tell him see you at Christmas because I go to my grandmother's every Christmas.

My grandfather was a tough bird. He fought cancer for a year but now god just said it was his time to go. I can't see him anymore but may he forever be in my heart and watching over me in heaven. My father told me the funeral would be either on Wednesday or Thursday.

The subject of this topic has little potential to spark discussion between many members and, as such, would be better suited to a status update or a blog. When creating a thread, please remember that the goal is to start a conversation with room for many people to chime in and give their own viewpoints on, and that sharing events of an anecdotal nature would be better done elsewhere.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing. I'm sure everyone who reads this will keep him in their thoughts and prayers.

Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te.
