- Lyrics -

So long have I played this game

Disguise. Your love is my gain
The power in myself
all stolen love

Stol... -en... Love...

So, I get all of thier love
believed to be Armor's Fiance'

Give me your love! (x2)
Give me your fucking love!

And Twilight may have just figured it out
She can't stop me now!
She can't stop me now, I am in too deep

Shining
Armor
Is mine

Your friendship made you hard
but I will strike you down
I want Celestia
So, I can strike her down

Give me your love! (x2)
Give me your fucking love!

I know you're scared. So, just surrender. (x2)
This resistance is futile
All of this conflict is
a waste of time
Give me your love

and all my strength will go
Unhaltered
This resistance is futile
All of this conflict is
a waste of time
Give me your fucking love

Ooh... rah!

Listening to dance music the one can shake flanks a bit, listening to metal music the one can headbang a bit.

I can't even come up with something the one could do listening to THAT...

In terms of the content of the lyrics...I unfortunately have to say they're cheesy. They tell too much. They don't show the yearning of Chrysalis's heart for love. And honestly, songs in the mlp fandom that use profane language I feel don't sound right. The best I feel that works is "bucking", but then again, the lyrics need quite a bit of work. They need to show more instead of tell.

As for the vocals and track itself, The guitars peak a little too much, which drown out the vocals. Also, watch your drums. On some of the fills, they sound artificial, because they sound too fast for a human to play. Keep it real. The vocals are quite unclear, even though it's deathcore. The vocalist still has to have clarity.

All in all, it's an ok track. The one thing that's holding this track back unfortunately is the lyrics.

Lyrics are ponified. I didn't "make it my own" and just translated Mitch Lucker's lyrics to be pony related. It's hardly an excuse because I'm weak at writing lyrics anyway.

And Alex Lopez is a seriously talented drummer, and he plays those fills exactly that fast. Additionally, doubles over triples sounds funky in programming, but it's how he played it. Programming is hard, too. I use the lowest end equipment and I have the lowest amount of skill. I just suck, basically.

Vocal clarity is degraded because I have nothing on Mitch. I was trying to hit his range, especially in the lows, and some of the intelligibility was sacrificed for the sound. Deathcore does that a lot. Some vocalists simply assign words to sounds (Job for a Cowboy and All Shall Perish do that a lot.) so, I didn't think that was such a big deal.

Thanks for the feedback. You're on point, and I agree completely from jump.

One day, I'll figure out all that stuff. I'm learning all of this by ear and teaching myself how to do everything. I've been mixing music for almost 2 years, and I've come up a lot. The stuff I used to be proud of... ugh... I know that in two years, I'll listen to this and think the same thing. lol.
