The teaser for the movie should be more comedic, probably with Pinkie Pie breaking the fourth wall and making references. The second trailer should unveil the world of Equestria. Third trailer (if made) should focus on the story. This is usually how Disney handles its trailers.

Well, I guess there's really not much more to be said until they come out.

 

But in my opinion, I see one of two things going down: Either they decide to hammer in on epicness in order to send a message that it's worth watching (hopefully not in a cheesy, over-the-top manner). Or, they do something purposefully unique and vague to draw curiosity (don't know what that might be).
