Cirrus 3 April 25, 2012 Share April 25, 2012 Not the originally made music ones, but I want to make ones with songs from bands (like TFK, Relient K, Etc etc...) What are some of the programs needed to make something like this? Flash? Or something else? Help please!

Acleps 11 April 25, 2012 Share April 25, 2012 Well, it depends what kind of video you want to make. If you are planning on taking segments from the show itself, the only thing you need is a video editor. Windows comes with Windows Movie Maker, and Mac has iMovie. With those programs you can make a basic video. If you're planning on making a your own animations, you should use something like flash for the animation. Then you can either make the whole video straight in flash, or export the segments you've made and combine them in a video editing program. If you want to make something fancier with the source footage (the segments), then you need a better editing program than Movie Maker or iMovie. For PC, I would suggest Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere. For Mac, Final Cut or Adobe Premiere. Sometimes even those programs can't do the job required, and in that case you should try Adobe After Effects. It's mostly for visual effects, and thus is not suitable for combining the footage and music (and requires a lot more knowledge and practice). I could go on forever, but I think that will do for now .
Cirrus 3 April 25, 2012 Author Share April 25, 2012 Yes, I'm making my own animations, would I have to buy Adobe Flash? If so, birthday money, here I come.
