Zed entered the room. His shirt was covered in sweat and he was panting. He threw his tuxedo's on the bed and sat down. Now is my chance to ask her out! Zed opened his mouth but closed it again. He was surprisingly nervous. this had never happened for him before. After a minute he summoned the courage "Althea... Would you... Go to the prom with me?" Asked Zed nervously

Althea's eyes widen as she got asked out. Not only from her roommate, but her crush! "T-the prom? W-with me?! S-sure!" She said, blushing a lot. Eeeeee~!! Best day ever! Not only I went shopping with him, which got a little awkward when I tried on the dresses, but he's asking me out to the annual prom!

A wave of relief washed over Zed as she accepted his invitation, and he fistpumped behind her back Heck yeah! Now i need to find the craziest barberer along with the best tailor. He needed to look amazing for her sake "I'm glad to hear that Althea. The prom is in two days, so i'm looking forward to what you'll whip up that day" Said Zed with a wink

She rolled her eyes gently. "Dude, when the night comes, you'll be shocked out of your brain!" She grinned, giving him a wink back. "Now, since it's 12:00am.. I should be getting some sleep.. Good night Zed!" Althea said, walking towards her bed and lying down on top of the covers.

Zed smiled "Looking forward to it, miss shocker, and sleep well" Zed decided to go to the balcony again to gain some more fresh air, he was still slightly sweaty. He summoned his signature butterfly knife and did tricks with it to relax his mind. After 10 minutes or so, Zed was fast asleep

The next morning, Althea was already one step ahead of Zed. She was already cleaned, washed, dressed, brushed ETC. "Zed? Are you here?" She called out, no response. She sighed and left a note on his bed, gently placing it on his pillow. "Well, better get to the Cafeteria.." Althea said, grabbing her bag and leaving the room with a happy expression plastered on her face.

Zed woke up with a big yawn. He was about to subconciously pull off his cover, but noticed that there was none. At the cafeteria, Althea was getting her usual breakfast. Toast and Apple Juice. She sighed gently and made her way towards the same table that she used to sit in. Suddenly, a boy came up to her. "Excuse me Miss Althea? Are you hanging out with anyone?" He asked, looking confused. "Yes. I'm joined here with my Roommate who is unknown to his location.."

Zed walked down the stair towards the cafeteria, his hair and clothes where a mess, but he couldn't care less! He was happy like never before "Ahh, so this is how it feels to truly fall in love? Interesting" He walked down the halls, and students gave him a confused look, since they wheren't used to seeing him in a state like that

Zed walked down the stair towards the cafeteria, his hair and clothes where a mess, but he couldn't care less! He was happy like never before "Ahh, so this is how it feels to truly fall in love? The boy nodded and sat opposite to her. "Don't worry about me, I have a Friend joining me.." He reassured her , smiling. Althea sighed, and looked around for Zed. Finally, she found him....? He was in a messy state. He looked like he had raccoons messing around with his style.

Althea looked at the boy who was opposite her. "Names Joey, R-Class.." He said, bowing lightly at both of them. "Alright Joey., why are you sitting here?" Joey gave her a smirk. "Oh? You know the up coming prom~? Well, I thought I could ask you out for the prom!'I hired a car for both of us to drive to the prom ourselves!"

Zed covered his face and patted the guy on the back "Tough luck lad, but this lady is going out with me" He pulled Althea in for empathiz "So you are going to have to ask another girl, you aren't ugly so i'm sure there is someone who would accept you as their date"

As you can clearly see Althea has no intrest in you, and i'm already her prom date. So frankly i don't see what you are trying to accomplish"

Joey's eyes goes smaller than a ladybugs eyes would. "N-no sir! I-I'm just saying that she doesn't deserve a guy like you.. She needs more of a stronger person she relies on.. N-not her own roommate! T-that's out of the question! A surprise! C-can you please let me go now! I-I'm starting to hurt my neck by talking to you.." He gasped. Althea looked at what was going on. She places her hand on his shoulder. "Let him go and run Zed.. He may be in a lower class but he's in a disabled class.."

Zed could take a lot of insults before getting pissed off. But when someone says he is unable to protect other people... He gets mad. Zed ignored Altheas comment, and lifted the boy all the way up "Listen up kid... I don't care what you say to me, but when someone says that i'm unable to protect someone i love...." He leaned in "I get VERY angry" He let go of the boy, and Zed sat down again. His hands where shaking. Memories of his family getting slaughtered came to him "You are WEAK Zed. Your family will pay for that!" A gut wrenching scream followed the line and Zed broke down

So in a way.. We're related.." She explained, stroking show of her hair back from her face. "Just let it go Zed.. After all.. A new life is coming your way.. Wouldn't you like that? A new life?"

Althea looks at him, starting to tear up. "When I was young, I only lived with my father.. My mother was.. In a better place. I didn't know who or what was my mother.. Anyway.. My father trained me to be the ultimate swords woman. Everyday, he would teach me all kinds of skills until I was ready to combat a real person. The first, Ever, person I fought was a 19 year old.. I was 7 back then.. And, surprisingly, I won. I kept on fighting for my whole life until... My father passed away.." She started to cry. "I-I sobbed by his grave for 7 y-years until some random person sent me to knights school.. The only thing I have left is this.." Althea pulls out a golden leaf from her pocket.

Zed hugged Althea back and stroked her head. He observed the golden leaf, and was instantly reminded of something. He pulled out a blue jewel rose "This was also given to me by my mom when i was born. The only memories i have of my family other then that are my scars" Zed wiped off her tears and smiled "I have a question Althea. Have you tamed a companion yet?" Asked Zed, hoping the answer was no

Things didn't end well for him" she explained, looking down at her hands and the golden leaf in her palms. " I wish I could go back in time to see what really happened to me.."

Zed smiled "Don't we all?" He showed her his hand "I have no beast as well. So to distract our selves from this sad moment, how about we go find one? I hear there are some really strong ones in Spectrum city. But we have to be carefull as well. These creatures are no joke, that's for sure"

 

(Oh. and keep in mind that the beasts will be able to talk, so maybe we can have a double romance rolling or something? xD)

Althea grinned, getting up from her seat. "Let's go catch us some beasts!" She said, a smirk appearing on her gentle but rather naughty face. "Coming Zed?" She said, grabbing her gear that was next to her and bonus, her sword that was lying around the area.

Zed let a grin cross his features "Hell yeah. Let's take the teleport pad in the schools mainhall." He summoned his butterfly knife and started to walk ahead This is so awesome! I'm going to get a s-class companion for sure!!! They appeared in the mainhall and took the teleport pad
