Starswirl the Bearded adventure book or DVD boxset?

Which would you rather see done, officially by DHX or G.M.Berrow, an adventure trilogy bookset, like the Daring Do adventures, or adventure boxset exclusively on DVD, not included in the main FiM seasonal series? Would fans want either option, or prefer the continued lore and adventures of Starswirl to be left alone, to prevent possible inconsistency between the lore of him already shown in comics, other character chapter books, FiM, and EqG?

I would love to see him in the show itself. I have not read the comic issues that feature him so I am not sure how he is portrayed there but I just want to see him be explained and given more of a detailed backstory since he is suc ha prominent character for Equestria long ago.

I would love to see starswirl get developed more, especially his relation with celestia (which could make a wonderfull celestia centric episode)

Seeing Star Swirl in the show would be awesome!    ... Though I doubt he'll make an appearance..

Also, Star Swirl's name is 2 words, not 1

A straight to DVD boxed set won't happen, but it does sound neat. An adventure book or a short series of them however, does seem more likely and would be more affordable, probably. Plus, it could come in a nice box like the Daring Do books did originally. GM Berrow is supposedly going to be starting a new series of MLP related books, so it could happen.
