Magic... Such a known and yet unknown element in this world. People know it exists, but few dare to dwell into it. Thought Ray, as the blizzard blew around him. He was resting on an ice chair he created with his hands behinds his head "Say Anivia. Do you think there is a posibility for me to find another wizzard?" Asked Ray as he carved a sculpture of his companion. Anivia looked confused "Another wizzard? Well they aren't rare, and definetly not common. So unless we get out of this storm, we'll probably have a hard time. No one dares to walk around here, not everyone is immune to cold" Ray smiled "You might be right... But i don't know wether or not i want to leave this place, it feels like my home" He held the sculpture in front of him. It was an exact recreation of Anivia in a majestic pose. He created an ice slide from the top of the ruins, and pushed it down the slide. He always created sculptures, that he just left all over the place.

Just let it go Maura.. Become what you had become before.. A beast that'll DESTORY everything in its own path and waits until dawn to freeze in the sunlight.. The voice beamed from Mauras head as she was on a particular dark cloud. "Urrgh.. W-why.. I'll destory everyone that I care and love for.. Can't I choose who I want to grow up as?" She mumbled, dark aura was starting to swirl around her. The cloud was starting to break without hesitation. The only problem is.. It was breaking on top of a ice sculpture. Slivia , meanwhile, was trying to calm her thoughts down like he does. Calm down Laura.. Those are just heart breaking memories that want to be restored to you and take you over.. Just calm down.. Breath.. But it was too late. The cloud already broke and Maura was falling towards a ice sculpture faster than a granny's hip! Will anyone save her!?.

Ray was completely oblivious to the things going on above him. He suddenly heard a very girly shriek, and instantly jumped up from surprise. He looked outside, and saw a dark haired girl falling down. Damn it. What do i do? I can't just summon a damn ice pillar to break her fall. Realizing that she was about to hit the ground, Ray thought quickly and with the boost from the blizzards winds he lunged after her. He caught her mid air, and summoned an ice pillar that was pointing down uneven. He landed on it and slided down with the girl.  Once he was on the ground, he checked the girl. She was completely cold, so he took off his trench coat and purple scarf, he wrapped it around her and with the help of his magic, he made sure there was no wind in the spot her held her. She wasn't an ice wizzard, or a fire wizzard so there was no way she could survive this weather

Maura looked up at him, her eyes going small as she felt someone wrap his trench coat and scarf around her. Completely too cold to insult or at least try to say one, she sneezed. "W-what? Why did you.. Save me?" She asked in between shivers. Slivia, on the other hand, was trying to see what caused this incident. Either the ice sculptures poked the cloud or the cloud faded away because it didn't like the weight of the two friends. Maura looks down at her pet that was sniffing the ice sculptures for any clues. Maura sighed, feeling the temperature grow more and more cold. She closed her eyes gently, gritting her teeth together to realise how cold she is. Slivia looked up at Maura and gasped. "Get her under the fire Immediately! She can't maintain the temperature of the coldness!" He said, looking around for a fire place to warm her up.

Ray looked around. Damn it! I can't do anything! I only have ice magic, and that doesn't warm people... Suddenly he was struck by a good idea "Anivia!! Get down here" As soon as he said that, the dragon flew down and landed next to him with a goofy smile and chipper salute "Warm her up!" Said Ray and pointed at the girl. Anivia walked up to the girl, and snuggled her under her wing. Since she was a dragon, she possesed intense heat, despite her ice magic

Ray looked around. Damn it! I can't do anything! I only have ice magic, and that doesn't warm people... Suddenly he was struck by a good idea "Anivia!! Get down here" As soon as he said that, the dragon flew down and landed next to him with a goofy smile and chipper salute "Warm her up!" Said Ray and pointed at the girl. Anivia walked up to the girl, and snuggled her under her wing. Since she was a dragon, she possesed intense heat, despite her ice magic

 

Almost immediately, Maura was completely warm and forgotten that she was cold. Slivia looks at the huge beast with a huge eye-dropping jaw. That's twice the size of Slivia but no one said he could make himself big whenever he pleases to or not. Maura felt really guilty for doing so much for the falling girl on a particular dark cloud. She looks down, looking at her powers that was slightly glowing in her hands. "Huh.. Guess that ice is more powerful than dark.." She mumbled gently, holding herself lightly

Ray sighed "Judging from your aura, you are a dark magic wizzard, correct? So with due respect ma'am, what where you doing in a blizzard? Dark types aren't exactly the wizzards that would wonder into a suicide storm without a supplies" He let out another sigh "What is your name? You aren't an avergae dark magic user, you are much more powerfull then that"

She sighed, seeing how shouting isn't going to get her anywhere. "It's.. Maura.. Child of hell and Master/wizard of Dark as you mentioned earlier.. What's.. Yours?" She asked, swirling a tiny bit of dark magic around her finger.

Hell's master and the ice queen are good allies, so we have no beef between us in that department" He summoned an ice chair and sat down. "So how are you feeling? I wouldn't know how it feels nearly freezing to death for obvious reasons"

Maura started to smile but refused the feeling to smile at him. "I'm feeling fine.. If you didn't save me then I wouldn't be under your dept now.." Her eye brow rises lightly. "Ice queen apprentice huh? You're not bad as you look.. And fortunately, we don't battle one another, well we are in mid war with the light side.. Why would something as ridiculous called "light" will appear in front of you and knock you out, taking control of the whole universe.

The old castle of the ice queen, and also the place where he was born. He then looked back at the girl "Well, let's get you back to a city, and get you an inn. You ready anivia?" Anivia looked up and gave him a cheeky smile "Yup! It's so cute to see you helping out stranger!! This girl in particular, since you rarely help anyone THAT much" Ray facepalmed, partly because of her immaturity, and partly to hide his blush. He climbed aboard Anivia, and looked down at the girl and the wolf "You need a hand, or can you get up yourself?"

Maura rose from the ground and leered Slivia over. "Nah, it's cool, i got it.." She said, hopping on with Slivia. "Oh great dark fires.. This feels weird.. A wolf riding on a huge dragon.. Ain't that something you don't see everyday.." Slivia whispered to Maura, as his owner sat down on the dragon. "You'll get used to i- Aghh.." Her speech was interrupted by the same, mysterious voice. Get off this dragon and destory the elements.. Then you can redeem your full power to the whole universe! Get off now! She holds her head gently, clenching her hand on his shoulder gently. Slivia rubbed his owners back gently to calm her thoughts down before they got out of hand, or paw. "Just remember, it's all in your head Laura.." Slivia supported her as Maura started to get dark aura around her. Almost instantly, the aura disappears. "T-thanks Slivia.." She said.

Ray looked concerned at her "You alright?" He pulled out a little toy from his pocket. It was a round face with huge eyes and small wings. This was one of his most priced pocessions. He shakily stretched his hand out with the toy in hand. As much as his heart was hurting to give it to her, his mind was convinced that she needed it more then him "T-this usually helps me when i'm feeling down. Feel free to borrow it" Muttered Ray. His superior-in control deamanour was gone

Maura looks at the toy then at him. "Umm.. Okay.. Unless you want it back.." She looks in her cloak and pulls out a little toy, similar to his. "Here, it's was a little gift from the ice kingdom.." It was a small ice plushie with adorable eyes and a cute smile. "It may look like a plushie but it has calmed myself over 1000 times.. It still calms me now to this day.. Here.." Maura gives her self control cube over to him. She looks down at the winged toy and smiled, feeling calm.

Slivia jumped off as well, landing by his owners side. "So.. Where are we going to stay Lau?" Slivia asked, a confused expression was appearing on Slivias expressionless face.

She mumbled, starting to walk around the town for any inns o at least someone to stay. All the recent ones had been filled up so, it's either she had to go to a very cheap inn or just sleep outside.

Ray climbed on Anivia. "To the guild please" Anivia nodded and started flying towards the towns guild. He was pretty much the strongest fighter, next to the guild master, so he rarely came to challenge or aything. He only came for quests and dungeons so that he could earn money

She sighed, sitting in a alley way, all alone to herself. "There's no way no one will ever trust a being like me.. It feels like I'm a program but I'm not.. I just wish people would treat me like they treat each other.. Everyone that I see.. Are happy, smiling, fighting together and having fun.. What about me? All they do is glare, Whisper about me and tease me.." She started crying, red tears coming from her eyes. Slivia, cuddled up to her, making sure she was warm. "We'll look for a guild soon.. But let's just rest.. You haven't gotten any sleep for 9 days in a while." Maura smiled and nodded. "Yea.."

After a few minutes, Ray landed outside the guild. He got off Anivia, and opened the door. As soon as he did that, the guild went totally silent. But he paid them no mind, he was here for a quest after all. After some looking he found a s-class quest, and took it off the board. As soon as he did that, the guild master approached. An old but very buff master smith, who can create weapons from anything. "You'll need a duo partner for that quest Ray" When he said that, the guilds members started to instantly approach him, and beg him to take them with him. But they where too weak, and only wanted the money anyways, so he left without responding to the eager newbies "I'll find a partner then" He exited the building, and walked towards Anivia "We need to find the girl. Think you can help me?" Anivia smiled, and they where off

A few minutes later, Maura was on a tree, playing the violin gently. She looked at her level standards. "Level 66? Huh? Weird.. I Guess he must be on a higher level.." She mumbled. A crowd of people started forming and started giving her money. For both Slivia and Maura they were surprised. Suddenly, she felt like this is the way of how to get respect from other people.. Looking around, she started singing the song. Her song could be heard from a mile away. The crowd got more and more bigger as they listened and praised her song.

Ray could hear the violoin beneath him, along with a very familiar voice "Looks like this is our lucky day Anivia." He summoned a pillar and slided down to earth. He decided to wait for her to end the performance, since it would be kind of rude to just barge in

Once she had finished her performance, she had over 9000 mons that the crowd gave to her. A loud around of applause could be heard from them, cheering and whooping her performance. For what, felt like the first time in forever, she actually smiled and bowed gently. When the crowd gave away, Maura could see a familiar face.

Ray started slow clapping at her performance "Didn't know you where a magician. Kind of surprised considering you are one of the most powerfull wizzards in the world. But anyways, i need you to accompany me for a job, if you want to of course. Here is the quest" He handed her the piece of paper "Also, if you haven't found a guild yet, i can offer you to join mine if you like"
