Second Sight clapped his front appendages together ( hoof and claw ). "Pleasure to meet all of you. I'll tell you what I know from exploring the area later on. Right now, we'll need to make a base of sorts. My little hidey hole isn't going to house all of you."

 

He turned to see Redwood entering the burning wreckage.

 

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. If what you say is true, and this is an armoury, there's plenty of chemicals that can produce toxic gases when ignited, say for example, plasma cartridges."

 

He retrieved a battered gas mask from the stingray's boot, handing it to Redwood.

 

"Wear this. And give it back later. I need it for more than toxic gases on this planet."

Shadow said as he stood on his hind legs, walked towards the pony, 

"We already have a base of operations and I don't think chemical will hurt me"

Once he was close he said as quiet so redwood and karas couldn't hear, 

"Just a friendly reminder, Don't do anything dumb, or that will be the last thing ya do."

He laughed and said as he walked into the armory to see what he can grab, 

"I still haven't got your name."

Karas didn't say a word. It simply stood by the capitan, and made sure he was safe. That was his only objective as head of security, and we as still required to carry it out, "Maybe we can find something of use down in there. We don't have much as it is to work with anyway."

Shadow came out with a big plasma gun, two small guns, a sniper rifle, and a big bag, and said as he tossed the guns and the bag into a portal,

"Pleasure to meet you. Shall we head back to the cockpit? We can talk there."

He felt something going down his side, he looked at his side to see a small trickle of blood, He mumbled to himself as he wiped the blood, 

"Look like I got cut. Oh well, I'll clean it when I get back."

"You're using the wreck of your ship as your shelter?" Second questioned. "I hope you put out the fires."

 

He hopped on his stingray preparing to start it with his claw.

 

"I'll follow you. Redwood and Karas, you can hitch a ride on my stingray. It'll save you time for the trip back."

Thinking hard for a moment, Karas paused in order to think about what kinds of wildlife they'd come across here, "Hm....you've been here on this planet for a while. You may be our most valuable asset in actuality. I may have a few questions."

 

It looked at the stingray, "Thank you. That's very nice of you to offer." It prepared to mount it.

After she finished scavenging for weapons and parts, Redwood gave the gas mask back to Second Sight and piled some of her haul on the stingray.

 

She then mounted the stingray and said, "Ah gotta admit, this is a nice piece 'a machinery. What's it got under th' hood?"

Shadow said as he took to the sky

"The cockpit is partially intact."

He flew towards the cockpit and when he got there, he reached into the portal and pulled out the bandage, then he started cleaning the cut. After that was done, he reached down and started checking the weapons.

"A mixture of magic and technology" Second Sight simply replied. He started up the stingray, and it floated into the air, 2.5 feet ( since y'all american ) above the ground. The thrusters on the back ignited, and the vehicle zoomed after shadow, merely hovering over rough terrain.

 

They arrived at the site a few minutes later. The stingray lowered onto the ground and deactivated. Second Sight dismounted it and stared at the cockpit.

 

"That's.... a big ship..."

Karas flew to the inside of the cockpit, "Dammit this thing looks like it's busted all to Tartarus and back."

 

It flew around, trying to scavenge and salvage for whatever it could find on what was left of the ship, "Nothing so far....what's the word Captain? What should we do?"

"You betcher ass she's big," she said to Second Sight, "One 'a th' heaviest ships in th' E.S.A. They got so much confidence in th' hull, they didn't even put in escape pods, stupidly enough. Now, help me get these weapons on board."

 

Redwood dismounted the stingray and took some of the weapons. She then headed over to the ship to check on Sparkle and the other crew member who had been rescued.

Shadow placed the weapon that he was holding down and said, 

"Could ya check how much food and water we have? We need to know how much we have and I don't know if the water here is safe."

 

He walked up to the weapon that redwood brought and started putting them into the cockpit.

The earth pony shrugged. "The water here'sa bit dirtier than Equestria's in the biome you're in. You'd have to purify it first." he stated. "I had a water purifier with me when I crashed here, but It's not enough for all of you. You can probably make a basic one out of some materials you can find on the planet."

 

Second Sight looked to the sky, observing the sun's position. "It's getting late. Some of the monsters who live here are nocturnal.", he warned, hopping back onto his stingray. "I'm gonna head back to my base; I'll see you guys tomorrow."

 

The stingray switched on once more, hovering above the ground. Second Sight whizzed away.

Karas took note of the orders it was given, and nodded, "Yes sir."

 

It went in the back area and opened a hatch that contained most of their food supply. Unfortunately, most of it had burned up when they made entry into the planet's atmosphere.

 

"Sir. It seems we have only two canisters of water, and assorted fruits to last us two days left," it called out to the captain.

Shadow swore under his breath and said,

I think we should make camp for the night, I'll take the first watch.

As if he was saying it was the end of the discussion, he grabbed the sniper rifle and climbed on top of the ship and kept his ears trained for any noise that he never heard of.

Redwood walked into the remains of Sparkle's quarters to find her tending to the other crew member.

 

"Got some news fer you," She said, "Ah went to th' wreck of th' armory with Officer Karas and we got ourselves a decent haul, but that ain't th' big news. We found another survivor, but he's been here fer a while, and he ain't E.S.A. He seems friendly enough, but stay on yer guard. By th' way, how's he doin'?" She pointed at the passed out crew member.

Karas looked up as the captain climbed up top to take the first watch of the night, "We're going to have to be careful....who knows what kinds of wildlife are here on this planet."

 

It went back to checking on the status of the ship, and seeing what it could do before it slept for the night.

Drakk slowly fluttered his eyes open and yawned, stretching his back and hooves while doing so. Smacking his lips together a couple times, he looked around, expecting to see himself in that old, boring room on that spaceship. But, that wasn't where he was at all. Confused, he looked around his new surroundings, slowly growing panicked.

 

Why was he not on the ship anymore? Or is this still the ship, but re-decorated? He didn't know. Atleast, not until the memories returned. In full force. All at once.

 

Once all of them returned, he groaned and lied back on the bed. Somehow, the ship had exploded, and he got stuck in a pile of rubble, to be saved later on by... Karas, he believes the name was. 

 

Hoping someone from the ship was around, Drakk tried to call out, only to find his voice was so hoarse that he couldn't speak. Coughing a couple times, he tried once again, managing to make some sort of yell. "H-Hello? Anyone t-there?" He said, still coughing his lungs out.

 

 

(If yall, uh, haven't noticed by now, I'm kind of a slow writer... Sorry   )

Redwood saw the crew member wake and said, "Well, at least you ain't dead. You passed out after Officer Karas blew th' hull and pulled you out, so ah guess ah should fill you in. After Karas got you out, he went with me to th' wreck of th' armory to get some weapons, and we found another survivor. Thing is, he ain't E.S.A., and he's been here fer some time. Ah don't trust 'im, but he could be useful. We're settin' up camp here fer now."

Drakk listened to his fellow crew-member as he explained what has happened, aswell as another "Survivor". He didn't like the sound of this non E.S.A, but he decided not to judge before he met the pony. 

 

"O-Ok, gotcha... Hey, do you mind b-bringing some water? Feeling kin*Cough*, k-kinda dry" He spoke to, uh, Redwood. He regretted not speaking to the crew alot, now. Most of the time, he was just doing his job and keeping quiet. Wouldn't surprise him if any of the survivors didn't even know his name.

"Ah actually don't know if ah can bring you some water. Ah'm not sure what kinda supplies we got right now, and ah don't want to waste anythin'. We're near a lake, but the other survivor, Second Sight, said th' water here needs purifyin' before we can drink it. Ah'm Redwood, sergeant 1st class and master-at-arms, by th' way. You'll hafta forgive me fer not rememberin' who you are."

From the end of the other room, Karas could hear Drakk's need for water. It tossed it perfectly across both rooms, right into Drakk's hoof.

 

"Be generous with it," it called out, "That just so happens to be our second-to-last canister of water. We should go find more tomorrow. As well as food."

Drakk blanched when he realized that he probably won't get any water, but shrugged it off, accepting that wasting supplies is probably a bad idea. "A-alright, ah understand, uh, Redwoo*Cough*, Redwood. And i-its fine that you don't recognize m-me. Doesn't surprise me. In anycase, D-Drakk's the name. W-worked on th' bridge" He managed to get out through his throat, which was burning like there was heaps of sand stuck in it.

Drakk stared at the canister in his hoof, wide eyed. He looked to where it came from and saw Karas standing there, from the complete other side of the room. He didn't know that... He? She?... S/he was that strong. And accurate.

 

Immediately once he realized there was water in that canister, he popped open the lid and all but poured it into his mouth, wanting to rejuvenate his body, though mostly his throat. He drank til the canister was half-full, and stopped himself when it came to that, not wanting to waste the apparently low abundance of water they had. "T-Thanks, Karas. I appreciate it" He said to the other pony, laying the canister on the ground next to the bed.

Karas kept rummaging through its supplies as it heard Drakk speak, "Yeah yeah no problem. However, I think we all need to arm ourselves in case some wild animal attacks what's left of the E.S.A."

 

It gathered up its throwing stars, and knives, "Is everyone armed?"
