Ok, I'm first.

Dear Princess Celestia.

Today I learned how different can be view on the same things.
Be careful with your friends. Be sure that they understood you correctly. And if you doubt that you got someone clearly ask to be more concrete. Otherwise you risk to get into awkward situation or even harm someone very deeply.

Your hopeless, but still very faithful student Crypty.

. Hello there, The subject of this topic seems a lot more suitable in the forum games then general discussion since it's not really having people talking about a certain subject so I'm moving it to the forum games section.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Today I learned about dealing with Life's little put-downs.

Those times when the entire world seems out to ruin your day, and you get to the point of just wanting to crawl back into bed and wait until tomorrow to go exist?  Yeah - THOSE days; they can ruin you if you don't face them with maturity, patience and a liiiiiiiittle bit of laughter.

'Adulting' is HARD; I want what I want when I want it, just like everyone else... but I have to give carefully of my time, effort and attention.  My children get a significant portion of that, as does my wife - and it sometimes doesn't feel like the returns are proportionate.

However, the rewards of 'adulting' are precious: the surprise hugs with shouts of "I love you, Daddy!" (or "Meow!"), the subtle inside jokes with my friends, that thing my Baby does with her tongue in my ear... *shudders*

...

... AAAAAANYWAY, the point is that I gutted it out and trudged through the entire day (and night), doing what needed to be done.  At the end of the day, I can look back, smile just a bit, and know that when I look in the mirror... I see someone I can live with.  And even like.  And that comes from sucking it up, doing your best, and never letting Life overwhelm you.  It's BELIEVING you're made of sterner stuff, and then following through.

I expect you might know what that's like, just a bit.  *knowing chuckle*

  Your Humble Servant,

     Randimaxis

P.S.: Again, sorry about the Cake joke; I didn't mean any harm, really.
