open Omnipotence: An everlasting sentence.

The Element Conflict, an event which occurred shortly after the defeat of Tirek, in which six ponies from another violent dimension wielding the Elements of Annihilation clashed with the Elements of Harmony.

Barely anypony not part of the conflict knew why these monsters came to fair Equestria, only that were savage, and if the Elements of Harmony hadn't made the six renounce their wicked ways, many a pony would have died. The leader of these ponies wielded a destructive and unique magic known as void magic. He was the last to change his mind, and if not for the combined efforts of not only the elements, but also all four princesses, Discord and even his own team, he wouldnt have been convinced to fold, and Equestria would habe been twisted into something truly aweful. However, the wielder of Void, what ignorant ponies call "The Piercing Abyss" remains on Equestria but has vanished. Nopony seems to know where it went. It could be in hiding until it comes up with the strength to overthrow Equestria, or it could have become a recluse and live in solitude until it dies.

For some reason, a reason all your own, you are drawn to find it.

".............................Beep." Mezra said to herself. She was sitting in her living room that was filled with anything magic, spell books, artifacts, stuffed mythical creatures. She herself was sitting on a old polyester couch. What she was doing was channeling herself into the natural flow of the magic that makes up the world and everything beyond. (The force.)

And it would have seemed she found something she hasn't sensed before.  And she was exited. So she kept looking for it, This went on fore a little while til it started getting strong enough for where she could track it. Which soon led her to yet another adventure.

Far east, deep south she traveled, and while there were many new and strange obstacles, her steadfast drive pushed her through any figurative or literal wall she encountered. Until at nights, a star caught her eye in the distance... But it was no star, it was the top of a tall, onyx and metal tower that warped the moonlight around it at the top. Its design spoke volumes on the evil that could have been waiting inside. Either way, it was chilling, and harsh outside. and this was the only shelter she had seen for days.

But Mezra was grinning ear to ear. This types of things don't scare her, but fill her with a maddening giddiness.  She pretty much skipped the rest of the way to the tower. While also breaking into a very happy victory dance. When she made it to the front doors of the towers, like she was in a normal suburb, knocked on the doors.

The entity at the top of the tower had been staring at her for miles through it's violet and black eyes, shining with a violently unnatural energy, knowing and yet hating the fact that this mare was coming deliberately to its abode. Its eyes followed her as its body remained still until she disappeared under the walls of its tower and a couple of echoes rippled up the monolithic structure. It had a decision to make. It could let the visitor die out in the cold, or let her come in and force her away tomorrow.

In front of Mezra, where the door was a black rift opened in the space before her with an ear shattering screech, sucking the cool air before her into its crying maw.

Mezra kept smiling.  Instead of waiting for the rift  to pull her in. She took a light running start and jump in, while given a loud 'Weeeee'.While she was in the rift she channeled her magic into a bubble and formed it around her for protection. As she float in her magic bubble she looked around her. "I like your tower. But it scares some of the spirits that live around it. ....I'm hungry. Can I trouble you for some milk a cookies?" She ask, still not showing any sign of fear.

The non-destructive rift gave nothing to Mezras senses, apathetic to her presence within it. It lasted mere seconds until it fell apart and faded from around her revealing her standing in a... Cell. A caged off prison like cell with nothing but a small window. On the other side of the bars stood a night black entity covered in wicked armor and violently glowing violet eyes. It was hard to make out any further details in the lighting, but underneath it's heavily distorted voice was the tone of a stallion. "I'm never prepared for guests. As for my tower, it's meant to keep adventurers or lost fools like you away." He turned his back on her before a plate of carrots and a glass of water appeared in the next to her. He added, "You will need real food if you are leaving tomorrow."

Mezra made a huffy face. "I said milk and cookies. I have a very sharp sweet tooth and I haven had a single piece of sugar in five days!" She shouted before taking in a few breaths. "But thank you anyway. And fools have the most fun. Who needs rational thinking?" She looked around the cell. Then the magic bubble went flat like a piece of paper with her still inside. It thin slipped though the bars and popped back to normal.

Mezre landed on her hooves when the bubble popped. "And I don't like cells. I went mad in a cell after I was locked in there for a few years. Got caught robbing graves." She shrugged.

It's eyes flashed anger before it turned his back on the pony and started down the hall. It muttered, "Insolent." Halfway down it it turned around to her and opened its wings, its form blocking all passage down the hall. Its eyes shined even brighter as its form took on a violent black energy, laced with arcs of violet bolts. Grey rings of arcane magic, runes twisting about them surrounded its new state. Then, on the other side of Mezra the same energy appeared as a wall, filling the entire width and height of the hallway, it screeched as the rift had, but was filled with a fullness of bass that the last rift had lacked, assumable caused by the grey magic. It gained momentum as it lashed down towards her. It was either make contact with the wall, or the monster before her, either way she was not leaving untouched.

This time Mezra's eyes narrowed.  She then closed them she started speaking in a forgotten language as magic flowed from her horn. When she opened her eyes, they were blacker then the abyss, and a maddening grin grew on her face. She took the hit head on, but she wasn't knocked down. She just walked toward the being. "I've dealt with 'all powerful' jerks like you before. The embodiment of the seven deadly sins, demons, the devil, the Elder ones, telemarketers.  But you're something too. I just came here to find a bleep I felt in the magic flow.

But you didn't have to hit me. That really hurt. And if you wanna fight I'll give it to you. Though I might have to raise an army of the dead, summon a few demons, one deadly sin, Wrath, the meanest and yo mama! And I should warn ya, I'm pretty well known. Just ask about the mad necromancer. I'm also known as the soul collector, Litch wannabe, mad mare, etc ,etc."

The anti magic void wall passed over her as She took the force of the wall. Given she had used magic to counteract it, the void magic was neutralized, so she wasn't teleported back into the cell, but the grey anti-magic shot through her at a weaker frequency than intended. Her connection to the arcane was torn away, mostly. About eighty percent. She was apparently an extremely powerful sorceress, but it was both her reaction timing and her ward that kept her magic, while still weakened, intact. He frowned at her. She was most unpleasant. He realized at this point he could go full on anti-mage, and due to her weakened connection, he would succeed, but the void core was beginning to take over. He lifted his hoof and stamped it on the ground, the black aura disappearing and his appearance taking on a more pleasant hue. His fur took an a blue hued gunmetal shade, while the fur on his extremities faded to a blood red, similar to the pattern on a Siamese cat. He still remained taller than the average stallion. He had lengthy black mane and tail, both with an indigo sheen. His eyes still pulsated violet, but not as steadily and bright.

He didn't appear angry anymore. To be honest, he wasn't afraid of her or her threats at all. After Antethica, and Omnipotence, and his fight with Equestria, he knew he couldn't be stopped as Colenso Void, and he knew nothing could ever scare him beyond himself. His voice was only slightly less distorted, but also far less evil, "Listen. This is my tower. I cant be having you roam free in it. You have one of three options. You can go back in the cell willingly. You can remain in my sights at all times, and forfeit what little magic you have left. Or I can take the rest of your magic, and throw you back in there myself. Either way, you are leaving tomorrow." He turned his back to her again, adding, "You found your bleep, and now that you've found it, you can leave."

Mezra's smile just grew. "Like I said, I've dealt with a lot of baddies. So I got a loooooot of curses, enchantments and stuff like that. But I'll be a good girl. It is your home after all. So I'll keep in your sight. Also, if you try to take all my magic from me, you'll die. There's a very, very powerful spell/curse on my soul. So it'll implode and pull you into the void with no way of getting out. And everyone knows only an Old one can leave the void, But it'll take them a very, very, very long time for them to do it. Without outside help.

Also."

Mezra body started to shake as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. She also started speaking another language. Her bones cracked as she moved. Soon a ghostly green form of her started seeping out of her body, attach to it looking like stitches, and other different colors, like patches. One of them was a blood red. "I attached other parts of other beings souls to mine. The red one's a demon." After she said that a burst of demonic energy burst from her body. Her eyes were red and demon like while the whites of her eyes turned black.

"So long story short, I can take you." Her voice was hollow and also demonic. But then she spoke another few word and the energy turned to her normal color of magic. "Magic's back." The next thing she did was skip over to the being. When she was near him she held out a hoof with a smile. "My name's Mezra Umbra. What's yours?

Things in Antethica had been just as bad as the mare before him... She, like him, had within her something that wasn't natural. He wouldn't counter her argument for her power. He hadn't verbally expressed opposition to it in the first place.

How the pure untouched void was an energy so opposite fro all that existed that it destroyed any thing not completely saturated by it.

And that the physical manifestation of said energy was a permanent part of him.... regrettably.

Seeing her, living so guiltless and shameless of the monster's that dwelled within her made filled him with intense disgust. But he wouldn't resort to violence, for he would just be giving into the desire of the abomination within him.

Turned away he added as elegantly as he could, "So you will not abide by the rules of your host... then you shall have no host." It was difficult when dealing with unicorns of her power. Violence would have been much easier... her molecules, soul and all the beasts within her dematerialize in less time than it takes for light to travel a foot. A rift immediately enveloped him and he appeared miles outside his tower.... time to find the next place to lay his head... maybe nopony would find him at the bottom of the ocean.

After he left, anything that had made the tower special, vanished..

As the being despaired in the rift, Mezr'a quickly searched though the flow for him again. When she found him she immediately teleported to him, still smiling. "Then I'll be your host. I haven't met a being like you before. And every time I meet a new being like you I wont stop till I know everything. So you're not going to get rid of me that easily."

When she appeared in front of him, he had to suffocate his reflex to strike out at her, and drown his urge to turn her into a disappearing vapor. Instead he let out a sigh of frustration and then looked her in the eyes before saying rather directly, "You clearly don't know how to take the most revealing and direct of hints miss contrary," Closing the gap between their faces, "You, nor any other being, are not welcome here. You disgust me, prideful of the abominations that live within you, fully accepting the corruption of your mind body and soul. You will learn nothing of the magic that dwells within me. Period." His horn lit up as a black outline collapsed around him, the grey rings forming in the air and closing onto him, binding his magic under an unbreakable lock and key, and visibly debilitating him for the magic was a part of his physical form. His eyes rolled back into his scull as he stumbled to the side and fell to the ground. His eyes returned to face the world, but possessed no glow, and he writhed on the ground, obviously in great pain, a mix of groaning, cursing, laughing, and gnashing his unusually predatory teeth. Sweat quickly beaded on his fur as tears filled his eyes and even blood began to pour onto the ground from his mouth. Even though it ravaged him, it was not fatal. Killing himself would be dooming every other pony to death.

Mezra looked down at him with a flat expression. "Butt-woad." She huffed. "Just because I'm  corrupted doesn't mean or make me evil, jerk-face. I also have part of an angel's soul too. Plus I already know tones of forbidden and forgotten magics. And I never ever used them fore evil! I just wanted to learn more about you."

His void core was not taking being locked down well, and made sure that he suffered for his insolence. By the time he was done, he was shivering, the ground underneath him wet with blood sweat and tears, and barely taking in deep breaths like he needed more air, but was suffocated beyond knowing how to quickly do so. He was going to make the argument that having part of an angels soul in her meant that she had to be sinister enough to take one, and that if she wanted to know more about him, then he was more himself without the void core butting into his thoughts and behaviors, but those thoughts were lost to a void just as destructive and omnipotent as the magic itself: Exhaustion. But his eyes, shining with tears and glazed over from fatigue, they communicated an epic of emotions to her. Self-loathing, fear, guilt, sorrow, and, surprising as it was to see, empathy. The stallion on the ground whom had expressed nothing but disdain for the mare before him, also on some level could sympathize and relate to her. But this look at her only lasted moments before they rolled back again and he passed out.

Mezra honestly felt bad for him as well. Because she was far from a heartless dark magic user. He used her magic to gently lift him up and ran off to a place where she could dress his wounds. She found a safe place where she could set up camp. She took a roll out futon and placed him on it.

After getting out the things she needed she started helping him.

A dreamless rest, shivering and covered in moisture, but soon even that faded. He awoke, unusually comfortable, understandably exhausted. A cool breeze, a warm flickering fire. Both seeming to be fighting to be the one to make him the most comfortable.

And the pony from before, tending to him. He could barely keep his eyes opened, but managed to croak, "Mezra, was it?"

Mezra was wrapping up his arm when the pony woke up. "Yeah-hu. And what's your name, over powered jerk-face? I hate it when some of the all powerful beings I meet are jerks. Even devil wasn't even a jerk. Sure we was scary at first but he warmed up to me. So much so he fave me some hell fire to help me with my alchemy.  Plus I don't have to pay for gas anymore. You ever cooked burgers with hell fire? The greatest thing you'll ever eat in your life." He said. She started drifting off from what she was saying at first.

He really wanted to say that her mind was scattered as the pepper if a pegasus shook a pepper shaker while flying 1500 apples up, but he didn't believe in being needlessly rude.

"Colenso. And if I seem a tad mean, then I'm doing something right." He still wasn't going to help her, though.

She made a face. "And how's that working out for you? I've read stories like this before. A being with too much power lock themselves away and act like a jerk to anyone who comes by because you're too scared of your power and blah blah blah. Trust me, it doesn't turn out well. Because I like to practice all kinds of forbid and forgotten magics, I had to live in the badlands for many years. And I got lonely, so I reanimated a friend." Just then a undead rat climbed out from her hood. It gave a hollow sounding squeak.

"But I still didn't like staying in the same place for a long time. So I travel, now I have lot of friends.  Even the devil has friends."

He was about to counter before entering a short stint of coughing. But once he recovered, he countered, "Well if you do read stories like that, it never works out because a fool comes in and changes the circumstances." He looked at the rat with a disapproving shake of the head and then continued, "But I am no longer needed anywhere. The sinner is dead, and there is much more to this than fear. I do this becau-" Wait, why say that. He didn't want to endear himself to her. He didn't need her to know his reasons. "It's my choice to make, nopony else has any say in the matter. Im not broken, and am in no need for your damn advice nor charity. Anyways, you didn't come here for the good of this world, or to help me out, you just want to sate your unquenchable thirst. I will have none of it."

"My thirst has been quenched many times. But that don't mean I don't get thirsty. And it's because of that thirst I can use what I learn to help others. Like a plant the only grows in the dragon territories where ponies dread to travel. It helps with very suaver burns. Because of my thirst to know things I went to the dragon lands without thinking. I almost got killed a few times, but I still kept going.

Now a few hospitable carry the ointment I made from it.

Also while I was in the dragon lands I was able to become friends with the dragon chief. And no one else can say that. Butt-wad.

And just because you banish yourself away from every thing dose mean you have to be a jerk to others who happens to find your place. If you just said "I'm sorry you came all this way. But I really would like to be alone. So could you leave me please?" But because you acted like I jerk I'm now gonna hound you until you tell me everything about you.

So you brought this on yourself."

He got up with a great struggle, and began walking away shakily. He needed none of this. There was no good to be found in the void. Then he stopped, saying to the pony behind him, "Thank you for the care, but there is nothing to know, because the void is nothing."
